Another bitter and twisted poster with an agenda Absolutely ridiculous comments comparing them to 777 as well Should they just not have bothered at Surrey? Agenda? So you launch a club with nothing? No they should have done this the right way, with proper branding, ethos etc. Basketball fans deserve better. Ask the Surrey fans what they would prefer? You are either totally agenda driven or clueless? Which is it?

I'm sure Dan Clark (yknow, the guy who has top level european and international experience as well as a GM domestically) will be considering his options now Mr Whosit reckons he doesn't have an "ethos". I'm not usually one for "be grateful for what you've got", but in the situation we're in, it's testament he's been able to get anything sorted in the space of time he's had to get it sorted. He's a good basketball person with an impressive background (and his dad knows a thing or two too), if anyone will make a go of it I'd back him to be best placed. Bottom line basketball is still in Surrey. That's pretty much what matters as of 6.20 on July 31. Exactly

Finally some real good news! Zalgaris is legendary and with a large population of Lithuanians in East London/Stratford should be interesting. Doesnt say which league and when are they playing. But fantastic. Let's pray to god they've got a logo ready to go!

I hope they ditch the black & white colour and have a Lion in the logo. Go back to the colours they had before 777 butchered it, a bit like how Timoney did in Glasgow when he basically killed off the Rocks name and changed it to crappy Caledonia Gladiators with a rather bland, boring logo.

Lithuanian London Lions? Or just Lithuanian Lions? Either way at least it'll get seats filled. Those Lithuanians sure love their basketball!

Nothing but respect for Dan and even more for Mark. Sorry but you've shown them zero respect with your comments about them trying to keep professional basketball alive in Surrey above Totally negative remarks No respect at all

I do think they'll switch to the Green and gold of Zalgaris. The atmospheres in there will be off the scale if they can appeal to the Lithuanian market in London.
I'm told the biggest Lithuanian community in LDN is around ten minutes from the arena too - looking at the bigger picture they've not done this on a wing and a prayer have they?

Is there any rule that says that shorts have to be the same colour as the vests?
Like have Yellow vests with the name & number in green with red outline, Green shorts with Yellow, Green & Red lines with Red socks

One of them had a chequered history with the law too if I remember?

The Lav Twins, I'm sure one was a convicted rapist. They certainly packed out crystal palace and people complained about a bloke waving a flag

If we’re not going back to having a salary cap then surely the circus of the Lions will just dominate the league again.
I thought this was a fresh start….that would be fair to all competing
We could be back to being a joke of a league.

Maybe the figure is too high, wouldn't surprise me with their attempt at ruining the domestic game.
I don't give a gnat's chuff if they get sold or not

Do the Lithuanians actually need to take on Lions - surely there will be huge debts etc
Why not just start a new club in London in the new league?
