I'm not comparing to Raiders at all, they're apples and oranges. Pats add 0 value to the plymouth sporting landscape but take plenty away.
I wanted Pats to succeed at the start, I even joined their coaching set up bigz, that's why I know first hand plymouth is better off without them. Raiders aren't the answer either, they're at the very bottom of their new journey

Without them we don't have lot of things We don't have players starting fights mid game We don't have fans entering changing rooms at half time to attack opposing players We don't have coaches breaking safeguarding rules to try and tap up 14 year olds We don't have fans booing charity events that aren't run by pats You don't have players family attacking players and coaches of other teams It's not about Raiders V Pats, it's a group of people that bring an incredible amount of negative attention to the sport who think they're the most important people in the world. I’ll address in turn: Happens in every sport and with every team. Welcome to the world of men’s sport. Not the only ones. It’s down to teams to adequately put security in place for stuff like that. Really? It happens the world over in junior sport, see irfs response. Thats just a weird thing to get offended by. See the security point above. Devan Baileys family got involved up in Scotland years ago if I remember right? Genuinely comes across like you’re offended by the mere thought of a team in Plymouth not being the raiders. You’re either living in a bubble or are looking for excuses to be outraged. The Devan Bailey one was actually hilarious. His brother (?) ran onto the court to start something, saw Gareth Murray, and immediatedly ran away. I think other stuff happened as well - maybe Sterling Davis chasing Phoenix into the dressing rooms. Makes today's rivalry seem rather tepid.

Was it after Bailey's brother going on the court that they put rails up in the arena, or did something else happen after that, my memory is hazy.

No they didn’t get paid. 777 let them work for weeks knowing it was over, and when it came time to pay - told them they all no longer had jobs. Scumbag move

A promising update for Lions "We're told the winding up petition against the London Lions was dismissed today after they reached an agreement with the petitioner creditor with a payment for a portion of the debt. Additionally, we're informed a potential buyer of the club is lined up and ready to go." x.com/Hoopsfix/status/1816122261662835041?t=zAvSMQXEVQGJG9tuISF47g&s=19

I suppose being in the capital and London theirs potential for them to survive. That being said I can also forsee this being a similar downfall trajectory that bestowed the Mersey Tigers with their rise and fall. I hope their potential new owner is prepared for a challenge and London survives but doesn't take over the league again.

I've heard surrey have lost uni funding so are done, Manchester and London will be saved and pats are done. 777 are stopping any new league appearing though so will be a tough goer if it happens at all Guarentee at least 3 of those teams will be in the league next year and 2 of those will be Surrey and Manchester. 777 have no ability to stop a new league Scorchers fold mate..... x.com/Hoopsfix/status/1818613878369980697?t=mK3RsaPN_2G5kr71wXcLHQ&s=19

But the 89ers exist very much, so basketball does indeed remain in Surrey.
