Lions playing a good team with a Rider that got away in Jonah Mathews.
I’m looking forward to seeing how well he can play, and whether or not Lions are good enough to beat Besiktas on TNT Sports 1 @ 16.45.

Lions up by 6 after Q1. Sharma is back but Dekker not playing - anyone know what his injury status is?

Well done Lions, nearly bottled it at the end, but held on 80 - 83.

Fabulous result for London.
And Glasgow’s first five were competitive in Poland, but not so the bench…,

Great win, and a deserved win... even if I did think they were going to throw it away in the last couple of minutes.

Was limping in the game against Paris and probably made it worse by playing through it. I don't think he has played again since. Haven't seen an update but would assume he is taking things a little slower. Picking up wins in Europe without him so maybe getting him 100% for the new year and potential play off run in Europe.

In theory a win-able game tonight against Cedevita Olimpija who are bottom of the group with a 0-7 record... but these are the games that can trip you up. London are on a 3 euro game winning streak though, and at home.
It'll also be interesting to see if this game impacts London's game against Newcastle just 24 hours later.

Another great win for London. Cedevita are not an 0-8 team. And again doing it without starting 5 players. No Dekker, Phillip or Soluade, very impressive. Really rated Ryan Schmidt, but Bozic is doing a great job. Always calm and collected.
A playoff place looks likely, although still only half way through and no easy games. Cant help but feel London will be disappointed with anything less then a Semi-Final appearance.

Yes it could easily have gone the other way and they defended really well at the end of Q4 to get the win. I think the calm manner of the Coach is helping the players get their heads down and stay focused whatever the scoreline. Great half time entertainment from the Acrobats as well!

Great half time entertainment from the Acrobats as well! I can honestly say that was the first time I've ever seen a man with his legs behind his head, sat in a bowl, balanced on another mans head..

I feel London had the edge throughout the game, but the gap between the two team's performances was no where nears as big as their records so far would have suggested. Also agree about Coach Bozic... calm and collected, not what I was expecting from a Serbian coach. And I think that's working well. Not that Coach Schmidt was anywhere near Coach Rob P levels in that respect! Even with the much tougher play-off qualification this season (only the top 12, not the top 16) I'd say a play-off spot is absolutely expected of London - and they're looking good for that. Then progressing to at least the Quarter Finals must be the target, and I think would be considered a major success if done.

Round 9 this evening, and a 5pm game as London travel to Lithuania to take on Vilnius Wolves. Wolves are 4-3 and in 5th, whilst London are 6-2 in 3rd. London have won their last 3 games, whilst Wolves have won 4 of their last 5.

It looks as if Dekker will definitely be back for this one. T Phillip and Soluade have also been training so I'm hopeful for a full strength squad.

Another great win, London in control from start to finish. Good to see Dekker back in the rotation, and wow, what a performance from Conor Morgan - what an unexpected superstar he’s become to this team.
