What a win against last years semi finalist!
Shocking first quarter but we really pulled it together and maintained a lead for the rest of the game. Great games all round, especially the Morgans and Grantham.
They were unlucky to shoot 9/21 from FTs which would have been the difference

I was on holiday last week so was delighted to see the result when I got home. I really didn't think London would be going into round 4 of the EuroCup unbeaten.
Moving on, I'm really looking forward to tonight's game against Paris. There's a lot of similarities between London and Paris, and I like the rivalry that's already been created between the two teams. Last season it was 1-1 between the two, but Paris look like they've really stepped it up this season. If London win tonight this'll be their longest winning streak in the EuroCup to date. Both teams are 3-0, so someone's going to be disappointed.
Should be a very good game, and the biggest crowd (4,000+ tickets already sold) at the Copper Box this season.

Do you know what channel it's on? TNT Sports, but due to a particularly heavy night for football coverage I think it's been relegated to one of the TNT Sports streams on Discovery+ and maybe the Red Button on select platforms.

London Lions have confirmed the game will also be streamed live on their YouTube channel tonight, I'm guessing because it's not on one of TNT Sports actual channels.

Taylor got cooked in the first quarter. Not sure Lions can hang with the speed of Paris so need to think how they can dictate the pace to benefit themselves.

That was one of the best games I've ever seen live. Paris were the superior squad for sure, and we failed to take advantage of them fouling out but to take the projected winners to double OT, I'm very happy with that.
Great to have the copperbox so full! Onto the next game

What a fantastic game of basketball. Paris play the fast basketball that we like in Britain. They really are the perfect rivals for London. This deserves to become a major fixture in our sporting calendar.

London missed opportunities to put the game beyond Paris, but the way Paris kept going they fully deserved the win. Great game to watch.

It's really impressive that we have a British team that can compete with the third or fourth best French team. I liked London Lions last season but this team has taken it to the next level.

What a game last night. Ultimatley I think Coach Bozic summarised it perfectly - and game to be proud of, but at the very end London came up short. Full credit to Paris for getting the win, playing the second OT with basically half their team fouled out and still winning. I'm already looking forward to the rematch in Paris on Boxing Day.
Also, everyone involved should be proud of getting 6,100+ people attending a game on a Tuesday night. Almost all of which stayed for the 2OTs, not leaving the arena until almost 10:30pm. And what a showcase game for everyone there. Hopefully last night was a real win for british basketball.

Elsewhere in the EuroCup last night Vilnius Wolves beat Istanbul 90-88, despite being down 7pts with 23 seconds remaining. What a night of exciting basketball!

Also, was that Josh Wander the co-founder of 777 Partners I saw courtside again last night? If so he looked like he was thoroughly enjoying the game and having a great night. Really getting into it. That can only be a good thing in terms of the commitment for London Lions and 777.

That Dekker 3 pointer on the buzzer to take the game to OT was incredible. Only basketball can give you those moments!

It'll be interested to see what happens with next Wednesday nights game... London are due to play Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv in Israel.
I believe Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv had to suspend one game (which is why they've played one less than everyone else) and switched 2 home games to away games. So it's likely London will be asked to host next week (although it's getting a bit late for that now, and might not even be possible), the game will be suspended until a later date, or the game will be played in a neutral venue somewhere else in Europe.
Given it's now only 5 days away I'm a little surprised there's been no announcement yet.

From the Euro league website
The BKT EuroCup Regular Season Round 5 game between Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv and the London Lions will be played in London instead of Tel Aviv, with the contest now taking place at 19:30 local time (GMT) on Thursday, November 2 instead of on Wednesday, November 1.
This decision has been taken considering the impossible nature of hosting games in Tel Aviv due to security concerns derived from the ongoing armed conflict in the area.
Euroleague Basketball (EB) has requested that Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv present an alternative arena located out of Israel to host its upcoming BKT EuroCup home games.
