Yeah that report is on their main front sports page, you usually have to go through "other sports" to discover anything about British basketball. |

NBA is also on the front page of the BBC website. It’s all good for the sport in the UK. If you knew nothing and you looked at the BBC Sport website today you would think football, cricket and basketball are our major sports.

How many newspapers tho ? For me this is a good measure Not that I am aware of. I will post on here if I see anything. I think in many cases the BBC leads and the newspapers follow. They did that with women’s sports. Hopefully they will do that with basketball. |

Fantastic. I expect this week was all very last minute, plus the aforementioned UEFA Champions League clash. It's a wonder they managed to get the game on TV at all. I can record all of these games now. So I paid £62 for one game 😂 I wonder if BT Sport will get presenters for this or just stream what's on Euroleague TV. Last season there were some Euroleague games on Free Sports. I wonder if Premier Sports have any plans to broadcast Euroleague. There’s a Euroleague game on Freesports tonight st 10pm |

Copperbox looked really quite full too, and their seemed to be a good atmosphere eventually after a quiet start. Anybody who wouldn't usually go treated to a great game. All looking good for London.

How many newspapers tho ? For me this is a good measure I don’t know anyone under 40 who regularly reads a newspaper. I’m sure someone on here will tell me they do but social media and website coverage is a far better barometer these days imo. |

I hope that Sam Dekker is back after his ankle injury, or else Lions might just get Slaughter’d I think so, I can’t see it on the BT Sport channel schedules, so I’m guessing it’ll be on the Red Button again. Tough game tomorrow night against a team regarded as one of the favourites to win the entire competition… having said that they’ve got a 50/50 record at the moment, same as London, so you never know. As for Dekker, he looks fit on the sidelines, I guess they’re just waiting until they think they absolutely need him before bringing him back and risking anything. Maybe this is the game that’ll happen. |
