Looks alot of fun if your a Lions fan and seems like no matter what they will have a European campaign that is going to last the whole season as well.
Whether they will be able to keep up with their BBL campaign aswell once this kicks off who knows. Although so far this season Lions have already shown they are the real deal!

I paid for Euroleague TV yesterday. It was £61:60. Looking forward to the season ahead after what was a fantastic Eurobasket. I am incredibly jealous of those who are going to get to attend these London Lions games. I literally cant even consider a one off pilgrimage from Preston as I have to get the kids to school the next day lol.

Yes, just to give a bit more detail as to how to watch these games (if you're not attending in person of course)... At the time of writing this the only way to watch these games is to subscribe to the EuroLeague.TV streaming service. It's £12.99 a month, or £76.99 for the entire season. That gives you live and on-demand access to all EuroLeague and EuroCup games.
I think you'll also be able to watch via the Bet365 app/website if you have an account with credit and you're happy to watch that way. I don't think those streams have commentary though, and obviously your viewing options are limited.
Of course if any other broadcast information becomes available I'll post it in this thread.

The code 'EARLYBIRD'gives 20% off for the season and is still valid. I'm unsure how much longer it will be valid given the Euroleauge starts today

It will be interesting to see how we do but a bit of an overstatement that is, they could lose by 30 today and still pick up a few wins down the road
I am really looking forward to it though

So British basketball returns to the EuroCup for the first time in 15 years tonight…
Doing a bit of research there’s a lot of similarities between London and Hapoel Tel Aviv – both are entering the EuroCup for the first time, and both have a mix of players with and without European experience. Statistically Hapoel Tel Aviv are favourites, with a predicted winning margin of 8 or 9 points.
What do we think is a realistic target for London in this EuroCup campaign? I’m going to say any progression beyond the regular season (so basically being in the top 8 teams of their group of 10) should be considered a successful first season.
By the way, there’s some confusion over the tip-off time for this evenings game, with even the Lions website getting it wrong. Tip-off is 18:00 UK time.

I agree with the above. 8th should be the goal. That would be a success. Not finishing last would also be a kind of success

It is also on the BT sports red button, I suppose that is not bad going really, as at least it is on TV, but I imagine the amount of people that will watch it that normally wouldn’t have is barely going to be above single digits
You would think 777 would be able to get this on sky really though

I agree, given they've managed to get some sort of deal with BT Sport I'm a bit surprised they weren't able to agree something with Sky. I'd even say getting the coverage on Sky Sports YouTube channel would be better than BT Sport Red Button. Still, being on London Lions YouTube and BT Sport Red Button is better than only being on the Euroleague streaming service, which is what I thought was going to be case case a week ago.

Looks like future games could be on normal BT
That’s a bit of a game changer then, Even if it’s just one or two that would be good but if it’s a proper deal with all the future games being on there then that would be incredible

There's a full slate of Champion's League games this evening, and Major League Baseball - another of BT's blue chip programmes - is a week into their playoffs. With only four channels something has to give. The early baseball game is on red button tonight too. On weeks where there's no European football this will definitely get headline airtime. Great news!
