Thanks Benji these tables have been fantastic. The NBL has been really competitive this season. The strongest top to bottom NBL1 for a long time. Unlike the BBL it's been an exciting championship race. As a Derby supporter I'm really proud of the team but fair play to Essex for being so defensively strong all season. The last 2 games at home to CoB (who've won at Essex) and Bradford (who've won at Hemel) was never going to be easy and despite monster games from OJ on Saturday and Blain on Sunday we maintained double figure leads in both games. The post Bradford celebrations at Derby Uni were fantastic despite there being no trophy to lift.

To be honest there's literally nothing between the top 4, maybe Essex would come out worst based on previous results but should be an interesting playoff series.

What is the bigger title? League or playoffs?

I've always felt the league title for BBL and NBL is the most prestigious because its won over so many more games. In the nba the playoffs is all that matters, finishing the regular season with the best record barely means a thing although there is now a trophy for it, but no one cares. However its a much bigger test having to win the playoffs with 4 rounds of best of 7 series.

Should you be named to an all British team if you play for another country?

So apart from reading this thread, I've no real knowledge of the NBL setup/ teams. So seeing as Ben Thomas/ Nix managed to attract Aaryn Rai last summer who in this years NBL has been the outstanding player this season? On second thoughts don't mention names, just send Ben a message and a phone number!
