Good win for the Mohawks today 85-59 against Sheffield elite 2 after a slow start it was level at half time 32-32 after a let’s just say a half time team ‘talk’ the Mohawks played much better in the second half to win comfortably 😀

Well done on the win, hopefully you keep winning and get promoted.
There are some clubs in D2 that are quite obviously out of their depth at that level.

We are looking good our new point guard Juvante Hayes is settling in nicely with 2 impressive displays and a few other players seem to have stepped up and playing well but Lions are also looking strong we play them twice in a row in February which could be champions deciders 😀

In D2 North, both COB Rockets and Worcester Wolves won again.
The game between the two sides next Saturday will be a key factor in deciding who wins the division.

I beleive Josh Merrington who was head coach at Charnwood, and an assistant to Rob P at Riders is involved with running the program and they have signed some ex BBL level players.
Ideally they are promoted at the end of the season.

I'm confused. I didn't think you could have pro Americans below D1?

Another win for Loughboro Riders at Birmingham Mets today in D3Midlands, despite Loughboro having 7 opponents on court.
Whil you can't expect FIBA level refs in D3, it would not be unreasonable for the game to be officiated impartially, sadly today that was not the case with both refs being "homers". Frequently missing fouls by the home team players and giving very very dubious calls against Loughboro.
Hower Loughboro still have their 100% record.
The big game in D2North tonight sees Worcester Wolves visit COB Rockets.

Rockets take it 66-57
Gone a bit quiet on the step up to BBL front, but they're certainly making a case for D1

They would be a good fit for D1 right now, better to consolidate and get the structure right for when the BBL opportunity arrises.

Division one preview www.basketballengland.co.uk/news/nbl1-preview-26-27-november-2022-live-streams-stats-and-more/?fbclid=IwAR2zYX20M1z7rgt11wwBQXZfcqHF-7gTRgegSj612zL8WQ63JfpEb8zzGHITees Valley Mohawks travel to Calderdale Explorers on Saturday which will be their biggest test of the season so far. Coach Butler says “We have had a great start to the season but this will be our biggest test, Calderdale have a great squad that can challenge for the title this season. They’ve lost to lions this year but didn’t travel to Eston with a strong squad with 7 players missing and that’s been their down fall in the past seasons but at home they’re really strong and can beat anyone in our league.” It will be a tough test for Mohawks but the squad Mohawks have recruited can also challenge for the title so this will be a very exciting game that lies ahead. Let’s go Mohawks #proudtobeamohawk

Tees Valley Mohawks keep their 100% record with a 76-69 victory over Calderdale Explorers. Juvante Hayes earned his first MVP of the season with an impressive 17 points with Dan Kelsey hitting 11 points. A great first half saw Mohawks take control from the start but a lot of turnovers in the second Half gave Calderdale life, huge shots from Dan Kelsey and Jai Naylor put the game out of reach towards the end of the game. Coach Butler says “ we started so well, we ran plays, moved ball well and defensively we were fantastic , the second half we got sloppy but came out with a huge win. I’m so proud of the team.” #proudtobeamohawk

Congrats to Tees Valley on their win, and keeping their 100% record.
In D3 Midlands Loughboro Riders 2 won again and maintained their 100% winning record.
It would be good to see both Tees Valley & Riders 2 in D2 North next season, both sides seem to be worthy of promotion.

Seems MK are playing two levels below their natural level.
A wise governing body would move them into D1 for next season.

I don't think any governing body will allow a team to skip a league
