I'm flabbergasted no one at the league has realised how terrible Todd and Azania are and done something about it. I can't listen to them and just mute the feed now. They offer nothing whatsoever and seem to be put on air for their own self gratification. The fact they are more often than not the pairing for our NATIONALLY BROADCASTED games is even more galling. It’s a turn off with these 2 clowns commenting, they need to get Dan R and Ant/drew back on Don’t usually jump on bandwagons but have to agree about last night’s commentary. I thought maybe I was being unfair so watched the first 5 minutes of Q1 during which the fanboys managed to mention the fact that London had played the previous evening 14 times (even though Sky didn’t cover that game!) and 5 mentions of it being Thanksgiving (including favourite T-G food…). I mean - REALLY? Had intended to watch the whole thing but the pain was too great. |

Just seen the game now.
While I know we were lucky enough to get the Lions on a night after the Eurocup it is win I will happily take.
I'm a little gutted it wasn't the Trophy or Playoff Final.
But I imagine this win will continue to boost the rising Eagles and I feel we now have a the potential to go unbeaten to Christmas.
The game itself I was worried when I saw Lions starting 5 it was going to be hard and even when we were up by 30 I was nervous thinking do not blow this Eagles.
But as we kept the pressure and intensity up London just couldn't seem to handle us this time.
Almost felt similar to the last game we played them but with the roles in reverse this time.
For Lions fans I wouldn't be to concerned despite the loss I still believe Lions will steam roll the championship.
Unless they are playing a hard Eurocup game the night before the Trophy or Playoffs I wouldn't be to worried right now and probably brush it off.
As for the Eagles I hope we enjoy it as I doubt we will be so lucky next time.
As for the coverage though I didn't mind the commentators although I was suprised to see Troy Deeney as one of the pundits.
I wasnt sure how to feel about it as I didn't know he had links to basketball but thought it was pretty cool.
It make me wonder if the League have any more suprise non basketball celebrities featuring in the new coverage.
The only thing that I wasn't a fan of during the coverage was when the camera went to Drew Lasker during play it minimised some exciting action on the court.
I think they would have been better doing it during free throws or stops in play.
Overall great win for the Eagles! 🏀🦅
