It's one thing losing to Leicester or a team when they are at the top of their game like last season.
To be up against them this season and still get destroyed by 20 to 30 points is a really worrying sign.

And to make it even worse we're not even halfway through the season and things are looking bleak.
And so many questions can be asked such as

-What has gone wrong?
-Who is to blame back stage?
-Why did we cut certain players and not others?
-Are anymore changes to come?
-What is the team moral like and what is motivating them?
-What is the ambition now?
-What can be done to keep the fans hoping?

Go to hand it to Newcastle fans - to fill your arena with despite a weak set of results is very impressive.  Whatever issues the team faces the coach can be confident that fans will get behind the team and see it through any arid spells.

Yes and when they have a quality squad will be an extremely tough place to go and get results

The owner and/or coach should be apologising to fans and showing they realise what the fans are seeing is not good enough

Gladiators have confirmed the semi final date for this also a re scheduled league game.

We are excited to announce that our BBL Cup Semi-Final against Leicester Riders will take place on the Tuesday the 20th of December at 7:45 PM.

As a result of this our fixture against Cheshire Phoenix on Sunday the 18th of December has been brought forward to Friday the 16th of December at 7:30 PM. This decision has been made to give our players the best opportunity to prepare for the Semi-Final. Any tickets purchased for the 18th will be usable on the 16th.

Riders twitter says the Riders v Gladiators cup game is on Wednesday 21st ??

That would be a interesting game, 24 hours apart I assume the Riders will have it correct. Gladiators communication is not that great...

Definitely on Wednesday 21st December 2022.

Tip-off is at 19:45.

(its a one-leg affair too)

All socials and the Riders web-site now have this as the official date.

All home cup games are included for Riders season ticket holders.

In the other semi final, Bristol Flyers host London Lions on Monday 19 December.
