To be honest I'm wondering exactly how many teams and which teams will this rebirth league have and when will it be tipping off.
Last season it was mid September the season began although if it ends up being a smaller league then I wonder if it will start a little later like in early October?
I also would be curious to know what competitions will be returning or if their will be anything new. I still got my fingers crossed we have the Cup back and get rid of the All Star game.

Everything will be new won't it? Nothing can continue as it's all still owned by 777

Tickets are still on sale for the Trophy final in January at Birmingham so presumably that competition will happen

No active comms strategy for the fans, we don’t know how many teams or where they are going to be, no league branding, no updates with real details on websites, most websites still refer to playing in the BBL and were are supposed to believe we are going to tip off in 5 weeks??!!!
Just being realistic. Either they will execute flawlessly and tip-off by mid Sep or it will fall apart. This is the reality.

There is of course, there's also a chance I do the same. Probably about the same probability. There is a reason heslop left when he did

Tickets are still on sale for the Trophy final in January at Birmingham so presumably that competition will happen If I was part of the 10 people who probably buy a ticket so far in advance. When 777 exploded I probably would have been asking for a refund or information on what it means for my ticket? I predict the league won't start until atleast October and will be delayed given the turmoil over the summer. But once the dust has settled and the league in place I will be glad to see the UK still have a league.

Really. Cheap shot. There are 6 clubs that has signed players, albeit incomplete rosters with the exception of Cheshire. Then you have Dans effort which is starting a new club from scratch but does have some carry over from the Scorchers. There’s no London, no Manchester, no Plymouth and most importantly, no time. So I ask you, what other than hope and prayer support your thesis and what credentials do you have to support that thesis? We are at a 6 or 7 club league attempting to play a 6-7 month season in a league that just collapsed ans without proper structure, comms, market and brand strategy. They should postpone the season, raise investment and try again when they have capital and/or addition team owners next season. To push for this season will result in total collapse. Do we want that?. My credentials, former McKinsey, MBA UPenn, interned at MLS. So I actually know a bit about the business side of sport. And you??

I know enough about profit and loss accounts to see Ron Scott doesn't deliver and loses millions of investor money And with your academic knowledge it should be simple for you to see the same? Raising investment above ? Something Ron Scott is always trying to do You have to ask where that investor money actually went? I bet he's paid himself a small fortune in wages from that investor money over the years of false promises? Delivering them nothing No wonder he kept promising a league next year Year after year of salary but year after year without a league? Fair play to him in that respect And he's still looking for investors in the latest business he set up only last week Lol

And what is your obsession with someone that has nothing to do with this conversation? Obviously deflecting the conversation makes up for you having no real logic and cannot defend a basic thesis. To the moderator Sam, it appears ifr cannot engage in proper debate and is taking this thread down the same path that destroyed WhatsBev. Theres been a lot said about Ron Scott on this forum over the years and it always destroys threads and ruins it for everyone. Irf has an unhealthy obsession with someone who he's never met and probably never will. Quite easy to play tough guy behind an anonymous chat room and it just kills the vibe for all of us. Can we close this thread please and move on to a different debate please?

I think the argument is going round in circles now and everyone is probably bored with it. You think the new league is rushing into things and doomed to fail. Irf thinks Ron hasn't done anything but lose money for 20 years.
That about summarises it. It's not about right and wrong but clearly there'll be no agreement on either point, so it is time to lock this now and everyone move on.
