resigns or re-signs? Maybe they don't have a player! Must have had a really bad first day at the club?

Sharks do add a final player to their roster as 6”5 Sheffield local Reyad West joins.

Cody John becomes 3rd Canadian on Manchester roster. Interesting given the rumours of who wanted to buy the club last year.

Nellie Cummings seems to have been cut from the Sharks Aye and it seems as though we’ve replaced him with another PG called AJ Harris. Not announced yet but he was playing against Caledonia the other night. Seemed decent. Very fast and strong. I reckon he was 5”9 5”10.

Eagles made Surrey look good today. Same old Steutel crap as the last two seasons, just without the exceptional offensive talent that saved us a few times last season.

I will say we look weaker then last season on paper but will be getting my first look at the team tommorow night against Bristol. I reckon we should be okay in the SBL but will struggle in Europe especially with our lack of depth in our roster and players prone to injury. Looking at these rosters though it's a little concerning that Manchester only have 3 players signed with the season starting in 2 weeks.

Would be very surprised if Manchester only have 3 players signed. Their media sites only been up and running for a few days and seem to be announcing players for men's and women's team daily.

Eagles were soundly beaten by Surrey, like really convincingly. We have a massive hole at point guard and center. Even of they make changes, we're on the back foot. Crazy to think we're playing in Europe with this squad, I hadn't even thought of that yet! Without having any inside info, I think losing Serios Group as a main sponsor has put a dent in player budget this season.

Great news. He's better to watch than to listen to. Think this will have more to do with his media role not paying enough/finishing.

Some delicious irony in a guy who criticised anyone against 777 and rambled about clubs working against the lions comes out of retirement to play in a league which those ‘dinosaurs’ created

Some delicious irony in a guy who criticised anyone against 777 and rambled about clubs working against the lions comes out of retirement to play in a league which those ‘dinosaurs’ created Not to mention signing for London Lions (again) after calling them a joke of a basketball team, although I believe his comments at the time were aimed more towards Vince than anyone else (and yes, I know this is the second time he's signed for Lions since making those comments). I'm not sure how I feel about the guy personally, but he's usually great on the court, just hoping that's still the case coming out of retirement. Also, with big hitters Ovie Soko and Jordan Taylor signed that's going to push London substantially towards the salary cap... the only way I can see Sam Dekker playing for them next season is if he's somehow totally exempt form the salary budget - which is unlikely. So what do we think... London have confirmed they'll honour his (rumoured £1.4M a year) deal, and he's already back in London practicing... Maybe loan him out to recover some of the cost? Keep him short of in-house at Zalgiris perhaps?

Good point, but that legacy BBL salary cap rule hasn’t been confirmed as part of the new SLB salary cap rules. Although nothing has been said about the SBL salary cap rules other than there is one!
