There hasn't been as much coverage on the TV channels as I was hoping of the bball, but today we did get Spain v Greece and the 2nd half of Australia v Canada which was good.

Japan made such an error in the final 10 seconds of regular time. Should have won against France.

USA v South Sudan on now and shock horror, its not close like the London game!
The 3x3 has got started now too, looks like quite a bit of that on eurosport tomorrow.

Jeez the commentary here is dreadful! Rob P needs someone with him I feel. I had set the game to tape and was going to watch it this evening until I saw it had disappeared from Eurosport and pretty much most basketball coverage on there has as well oddly apart from 3x3. |

Eurosports on screen guides are hopeless, they hardly ever actually show what's listed to be on. Sometimes their 3rd channel added specially for the Olympics just shows the same thing that's on eurosport 1. It's very frustrating. Maybe they aren't showing this game because irs on bbc?

I guess it depends on what platform you are watching your eurosport on - my platform is VM cable. As well as Eurosport 1,2 and 4k (channels 521, 522, 523) there is also a block of dedicated channels Eurosport 3 to 9 on channels 563 to 569 with eurosport6 (566) dedicated to basketball I assume sky users have a similar block somewhere and there is also the discovery+ app with all these I beleive. |

Ahh ok I wish I'd known that sooner! Yes I am on VM as well and thought it was just 521, 522 and 523! Wish they advertised it a bit better as I didn't realise they had other channels further down the list.

Well from what I have seen in the group stages for the Men's comp whilst this US team is dominant.
I think the only teams that will be able to go toe to toe and stop USA taking the gold are Canada and Germany so far.
France have been pretty underwhelming despite being the host nation as well ad Spain but Japan were a suprise package taking the French to OT.
Australia though are looking strong as well aswell.
Look forward to seeing how the knock out stages progress.

Very exciting finishes to both the 3x3 finals! Good to see Pau Gasol and Dirk watching on for the Spain-Germany womens final. Good drama there.

Germany and Serbia won the first two quarter finals. I'd expect Canada and USa to win the remaining games.

Great game between Serbia and Australia, going into overtime. Jokic was mustard in the OT. Big come back from them as well from the first half deficit. Germany beat Greece quite comfortably before that, they should grab a medal from here I think. France have been disappointing so I expect Canada to win that one but think they might be the semi finalist who don't medal...

A real turn up for the books in this France-Canada game.
As a Knicks fan I’m gutted for RJ Barrett but I was really pleased for Evan Fournier who hit some big shots down the stretch. He’s had a tough couple of years and I’m glad to see him get a big moment.
