Gutted I'm going to miss the Pats at Eagles on Friday due to work but hopefully the Eagles will continue the form they have had since acquiring Gordon and the 2 week layoff won't have interrupted their rhythm again.
London and Glasgow should be fun and a potential preview of the Trophy Final if the Rocks topple the Nix. As for Giants vs Flyers that should be an interesting one. I'm going to go for the Flyers on this one but Manchester are going to be wanting to get back to winning ways as things have really dipped form wise since the New Year.

Should be a great close game at VMA tonight between two teams in form. Eagles to win in overtime, although 2 week layoffs don’t usually end well for them …

Plymouth losing a player might hurt them. For the Eagles I hope we play better defence then what we did against Rocks.

It still baffls me Washburn was an NBA player just a couple of years ago.
He's probably barely a top 5 player on this Lions roster, let alone in the league

Eagles just can't defend without Defoe on the floor, it's horrendous to watch. Peel is a shell of the player that played at London, he offers nothing on offense whatsoever. He's been a real disappointment.
Really liked watching Plymouth play, they're a fun team. Never give up, always fighting.

Pirates/Patrons did a great job keeping Sievley Person quiet too, when his offence isn't firing he's such a liability on defence.

Watched the Eagles vs Pats game back on BBL Player thus evening since I missed it live.
Was gutted the feed just cut during the intense 4th Quarter!🤯 Really annoyed that happened and gutted that we lost but well played to the Pats for the win.
For the way there going I would definately award them as the most improved team of the 2nd half of season especially if they make the Playoffs.
As for us I'm glad we kept it competitive and now I feel we can at least challenge any team in the league including the Riders now. But whilst our offence is starting to click defensively we need more work.
I wonder if we keep most of this group now for next season if that would possibly give us an advantage for next year? 🤔

Defoe +10 and Peel -13. Not difficult to see where the Eagles lost the game. And Defoe is at least 5 years past his best if not more Disagree, there are parts of his game that are improving if anything. His jump shot is very reliable now and his defense is still excellent. He's obviously not as athletic as he once was but our team is always better with him on the floor. The team relies on him way too much, which is our biggest problem. Crowds wise it's been sold out for pretty much every game, and they're always backed well. I think most are pretty realistic that this is just a bad year and would hope it's put right in the summer. Hopefully recruitment goes better in the summer, as the rest of what the organisation does is 100% going in the right direction.

IRF is correct in that he’s past his best and eagles need to be giving serious thought to his successor
