I think you're missing the point bigz. A felony conviction alone is a big deal in the US, especially if one is in the financial sector. Unlike a misdemeanour, it bars you from the formal licensing in te industry.. Also, it appears he was on parole for 15 years! That signals he cut a deal and there is certainly more to the story. Im pretty sure that no league in the States, including the NBA would approve him.
The bloke is bad news given all the other issues but we are just so happy that someone invested money into the BBL, we just turn a blind eye.

And in truth, who the hell are we to speculate whether there's more to it or not? It's clearly not debarred anyone from the US from investing in him previously (naively I'd say from a business perspective but still). The point is and always has been his business model is questionable at best. Anything else is at this stage irrelevant. The fact the BBL and Lions are losing money hand over fist and the 777 model is in trouble worldwide has absolutely no bearing on the fact the guy dealt a bit of cocaine.

I’ll pass your comments onto Josh when I next see him to collect this months payments for my positive posts in here. Hopefully I get them…

Nothing dodgy here at all. Move along please. Certainly there's no corruption involved at all. Not even a whiff.

Now I'm thinking some people on here might be drug dealers. Far from it (I havent even smoked a cigarette in my life let alone taken drugs), I just think its such an unbelievably small subplot of the 777 story that in the grand scheme of things its insignificant. 31 grams of coke in the post when he's a college student isn't exactly a stick to beat him with for the rest of his life. Now their business practices/model - there's enough fat to chew there... Exactly. Utterly ridiculous to suggest that downplaying the importance of something that happened 21 years ago is condoning it. Equally ridiculous to believe that thing is the crux of the issue. It's a shame some people apparently can't talk about this subject without repeatedly flinging shit at and attempting to belittle others.

Well if BBC Sport is now reporting on it then I think 777 are really in trouble now. I suspect they will survive to the end of the season. However I suggest we all start preparing and getting ready for another rebrand as in the off-season I suspect theirs going to be some fireworks. The only investment I can see from here will be on tickets for a place on-board rocket up to Space where the authorities can't touch them.

The end is near.

TalkSport currently discussing this topic right now……..they are talking extremely negatively about 777 and questioning everything about them.
