Ok as ello23 isn't around I will take on the role of 777 Partners defender.
From the BBC
"BBC Sport understands the club are not taking insolvency advice,, external but are considering ways of restructuring its short-term debt to make it more manageable.
The club owes about £400m to numerous third-party firms, with much of the loans being used towards the building of the new stadium.
It is believed there is currently not a threat of administration as the club remain up to date with payments to stakeholders such as the players, staff, stadium construction company Laing O'Rourke and HMRC."
As you can see everything is under control and none of 777 Partners, Everton FC, the BBL or London Lions are days away from administration. None of the companies are facing insolvency and all have the liquidity they need to continue trading.

You forgot about the people in Australia stranded without an airline to fly them?

"In further financial strife, 777's UK public relations advisers have stopped representing the company after the firm did not meet payments on fees and it remains to be seen whether they will re-engage." Damn looks like they've even stopped paying ello23 !! Lol No wonder he's not posted for a while!! Atleast spell my name right INF. 😉

The user embarrassed themselves with their first post in this Thread, slagging off Josimar. They were like a Pro 777 version of the Anti 777 dunkster from WB And suggesting Ice Basketball as a sport wasn’t embarrassing? What I struggle with Josimar is that Paul Brown who has been the main author of nearly all the articles, is a “Life long Evertonian Fan”… so clearly has his own agenda involved. Accompany that with his friendship with “Theesk” on Twitter, another Die Hard Everton fan and podcaster, where Paul has regularly featured on… it just doesn’t sit right. You only need to scroll through their twitters to see a very biased and one sided point of view. So yes… that’s why I struggle with Josimar’s endless articles about Everton. Surely Man City’s constant breaking of FFP should warrant atleast one article… right? Or is that not on Paul’s Agenda.

For what it's worth, I'm a die hard Evertonian and the esk is a gobsh**e and is seen as such by 90% of the fan base. He's got his own agenda as an extremely minor shareholding and whilst his scepticism of 777 isn't unfounded (I'm a cynic as well anyone knows), I take everything he says with a pinch of salt.

I'm not to sure what the situation is anymore although I'm starting to believe 777 will never get their hands on Everton given all the negative publicity and how long it is taking.
I'm also suprised that no one else is wanting to buy such a famous club as Everton and they have competition in that respect.
Although hearing about this salary cap that the Premier league is wanting to bring in. Which to me sounded like revenge from the smaller clubs for what happened with the FA Cup controversy the other week.
I wonder if 777 will be happy obliging to that rule given that they removed such a rule from the BBL afew seasons ago? Will they try to then own the Premier League in a bid to abolish the rule?

It took me all of about 1 second to realise that. So when I found out that one of the people writing the articles for Josimar is closely linked with “theesk”… it lost my credibility. Follow Alan Myers and you’ll get the complete opposite view. When will we learn to not always believe the media, journalists or even worse, Twitter. I’ve been quiet because I would rather wait and find out the facts. Whichever way that will be. The Bonza situation isn’t great of course. It sounds like A-cap had majority ownership of the planes, and with it pulling back, it has now taken back full ownership of the planes. Leaving Bonza with no aircraft to operate with. The Australian aviation industry is extremely difficult, with Qantas dominating it. It was always going to be a very difficult market to crack. Interesting to see what happens here and what comes from it.

Maybe a controversial opinion...
But everyone is talking like 777 will be responsible for the collapse of Everton, when in reality it's much more likely Everton will be responsible for the collapse of 777.
The sensible thing would have been for 777 to have walked away from Everton a long time ago, but instead they've 'loaned' them £200M+ that it sounds like they didn't really have in the first place and now might not get back, whilst their smaller businesses are struggling to survive day to day.

I think there's people at 777 who know the writing is on the wall In the meantime they keep getting investors to put more money in And those investors themselves in so deep they can't consider failure of the business And in the meantime those people that are clinging on as long as possible will be drawing as much wage, expense etc as they can legally take and not have taken back by authorities when the whole business collapses sooner or later It's the only explanation I can give for what I'm seeing

One big spanner in the works…….the Dept of Justice investigation of 777 et al in the SDNY led by Damian Williams and Nicolas Roos. Don’t see them escaping that I’m afraid. They have an impeccable conviction rate for white collar criminals and once they are on your tail……..

If it even gets to a trial stage. With Wanda's conections in the drugs world, someone may decide that it is betetr for him to be "unalived" before he can give evidence

With Wanda's conections in the drugs world, someone may decide that it is betetr for him to be "unalived" before he can give evidence I recall users claiming his conviction was no big deal, condoning what he did basically, drug dealing blights communities and in some countries you can be executed for it.

You are right. But I think 777s plan with Everton is to get some ownership of the new stadium. Debt leverage heaven then

I'm afraid that bloody no good 777 shill isn't the only one who's not particularly fussed about a drug arrest that happened 21 years ago. Ashamedly, I'm on record as saying precisely that. And perhaps more shockingly Bigz has, as far as I can tell, expressed basically the same sentiment.
There are clearly some pretty awful people on this forum. It's an absolute Godsent that we have good, decent folk like milehigh and ScottishBasketballFan around to uphold moral standards. I dread to think of the depths this place might stoop to without those two shining lights.

Now I'm thinking some people on here might be drug dealers. Far from it (I havent even smoked a cigarette in my life let alone taken drugs), I just think its such an unbelievably small subplot of the 777 story that in the grand scheme of things its insignificant. 31 grams of coke in the post when he's a college student isn't exactly a stick to beat him with for the rest of his life. Now their business practices/model - there's enough fat to chew there...
