2 exciting games for a Friday night. If we play like we did against London on Monday then I'd like to think we'd come back with a vegence and win against the Riders.
That being said Leicester have already proven despite being a young team of rookies they won't shy away from the challenge and like to kick our arse again on our turf once more.
On Monday despite the defeat I feel we finally proved the calibre we are capable of playing at. So if on Friday we end up slipping again I will be very disappointed Especially now that it is has been over a month into the season I like to think we would have now found a little more rhythm and start playing with more confidence as a team.
As for the other game on Sky Lions are good but if us and their opponent tonight in Europe have worn them down then Sheffield might have a chance on this one if the Lions are experiencing any travel fatigue. And Sharks have been on a good run as of late too.
Call me crazy but I'm going to go Eagles and Sharks on this one.

Leicester and London, both high in confidence

Because they only narrowly lost to Lions (in overtime) I reckon Eagles will be much more confident of beating Riders. Admit to being rather nervous about the outcome. Hoping that Paternostro has worked on defending our boards better and moving the ball quicker in offence to get clearer looks for three point shooting.

Only thing I will say about our game on Monday was it was a very high offensive game for both sides and not as much defensive. So I do think it depends on what sort of game we look to play against you could determine how we come out. I imagine Marc might have a different game plan and hopefully it will include some defence against Riders instead of going in with the whole let's try to beat them via a straight up shoot out to death.

Attitude of both sets of players (Riders and Eagles) will be so important
You imagine both camps will be well up for the battle tbh
If Eagles are still with just 8 players I imagine Rob will have a plan which involves trying to run Eagles ragged
Which has often worked in the past for Rob v Eagles

It's the key tile so if anything got washed this one should have done!!

Assume the rumour is Geno related since there's no basketball happening in Israel for obvious reasons.

I was listening to the Drew and Jay Podcast yesterday on my way home from work and Drew Lasker was try to suggest Caledonia Gladiators should sign him and have him reunite with Patrick Whelan. To be honest although he will be a pain to guard it would be fantastic to see a high calibre player like Geno back in the league. Watching the way Morgan for Lions was killing us with the 3 ball the other night reminded me of the way Geno would just come on court and just bang in whatever he wanted.

Surely if Crandall was to be hired we would have to cut one of our other guards? Geno'd be expensive so maybe even two players.

Geno is the rumour, his leadership needed to take Leicester to the next level. But its literally just a rumour I saw with a few tweets. No background info

Geno should be able to do better than Riders and Gladiators if he's patient. He's coming off a 6th man of the year type season in Germany. Is this an actual genuine rumour or just a few random fans with no inside info hoping he might return now he's left Israel?
Great as it would be to have him back, ball handling/creativity is hardly what's missing from this Riders team. I don't feel there's an urgent need for any change of personnel but if we need anything, I'd have thought it would be a big guy who can rebound and defend. Bridges has been near enough unstoppable offensively. He's gone 23-26 from the field so far and they haven't all been layups. But I wouldn't say he particularly excels in other areas.
