Thought I would create a thread for the only game not being talked about this weekend which is Eagles@Lions tommorow night.
After going on a 4 game losing streak and having over a week to recover I like to think we will come out better for this one.
Although after watching Lions play the Nix on Sky the other night I'm not entirely confident.
If this Eagles team is as good as it looks on paper then theirs no reason why we cannot8 be the first ones to beat the Lions.
However right now Lions even without Sam Dekker look way to good right now to be beaten and have to strong a supporting cast to make up for his absence.
If Eagles can somehow pull of an upset it would certainly help Coach Stetuel out after some of the backlash he's been getting for the recent string of losses early going.
I'm probably also not going to get round to seeing this game until Wednesday when i watch it back but will be hoping for a good Eagles performance.
However the last few London games have been so one sided I've ended up turning off come the 4th Quarter due to lack of excitment.

I'll be super pee'd off of if we leak loads of easy 3s again. If Sharma and Olaseni go off inside not much we can do with that, same for Matt Morgan if he needs to.

Not really, I like to think we can test London but right now I feel the only way that will happen is if London decides to take the day off and play the C team in order to save their legs for Europe. I hope I'm wrong though. I remember 2 seasons ago after a crushing defeat to Shefield we went into the following game against London not particularly optimistic and won. I hope history can repeat itself again here. |

Would imagine Lions would want to get a big lead early and rest players as much as they can
At the same time Eagles will want to start hard and not be pushovers. Play with some pride

With the above numbers you would normally think Eagles choked this Nothing could be further from the truth IMO They did really well with an 8 man squad and Lions really stepped up with 3 point shooting at the end Actually feel gutted for Eagles for first time ever If they play like that this weekend Riders will have problems |
