Think this game will be a severe challenge for Riders. Flyers looked very good against Lions and as they are at home the cards look stacked in their favour. Obviously, I'd love to win the game but my bigger priority is to see us massively improve our defence.

Yea you would think Bristol will have too much, but in my short time watching basketball I have learnt things don't always go as predicted. Hoping for a couple of close games, they are the best.

Sharks made heavy weather of this one. Although defensively solid we dried up offensively after half time. Pipkins had very limited touches until the 4th and was by far our biggest threat and pulled this one out of the bag. Still early days and juggling roster line ups (and a doubleheader to boot), but was surprised that Allen had the ball in his hands so much while Parker Stewart and Eytle Rock seemingly saw very little action. Still will take the away win and hope we build on that.

Gutted Surrey didn't come away with a win on this one. Although what on earth is going on in the Bristol vs Riders game? Those box scores are mental.

Killing us with offensive rebounds but still Walker not used. Paternostro managed to get 2 technical fouls in quick succession. Lost our 27 point lead and it's just 9 now. Talk about digging a hole for yourself. Terrible. If we are to win this it'll take a minor miracle.

I wonder if he will be taking a laptop to courtside and streaming his instructions via Zoom? Got to admit having just watched it the camera didnt exactly catch what he was doing. Although from the looks of things whilst I'm not sure what Rob said I think the refs are going to have a hard time defending that double tech?

Riders fully deserved that, Bristol, apart from a brief spell, never really got going. Good game all the same.

Obviously, I'd love to win the game but my bigger priority is to see us massively improve our defence. Well, that aged well! Riders were able to stay calm and see out the game in comfort during Q4. After last week's win I thought Pinson was potentially something special. He was terrific tonight, with some outstanding passing. 9 assists tells its own story. May be one of the best guards in the BBL. No wonder he was MVP. We showed grit and determination with a big improvement in defence (except for Q2). Beating Flyers by a big margin on their home court was quite an achievement. Our assistant coach, Vazquez, did a first class job running the team. Congratulations to him.

What on earth were Paternostroās two technicals for? The cameras completely missed the āactionā and, without that, the commentators in their remote studio clearly hadnāt got a scooby eitherā¦ā¦..

Glad to see Mo Walker play in Q4. He was effective in our offence but he also made life a bit trickier for Flyers' offence too. Bristol were killing us on our own board and we have to address that to reduce second chances for the opposition. Nix did the same and stole so many rebounds if they missed shots. However, last night was the first time I thought our defence had begun to work effectively as a team. It wobbled badly at times but you could see the intensity and desire to improve. Rob & Pablo have made Riders better in that respect. Our players will have to be aware that Pinson can get the ball into their hands with terrific passing at any given moment. He was fantastic.

Gutted Surrey didn't come away with a win on this one. Ditto. Although to be fair Sheffield were the better team overall, although I think maybe Surrey were better in OT. Surrey looking better this season though. Hopefully weāll see some good results from them soon.
