I like to think Eagles despite the struggles would have enough to beat Surrey. And I look forward to seeing Gordon in action and in person for the first time.
Manchester have been on a struggle as of late but unless Leicester don't turn up I cannot see them losing to the Giants at the moment.
Flyers and Pats will be an interesting derby game and hopefully the Pats will win it for the fact they beat Bristol last time but it wasnt counted as an official win. Although Bristol are a dark horse this year so I reckon they would win.
Rocks vs Sharks I agree is a tough one to call.

Friday’s Riders Vs Giants could end up being like an episode of Bullseye with Jim Bowen, Look it up if you have no idea what I’m talking about,
Riders May bring the Cup out to show it round.... Now on Bullseye if you blew the final round they would pull back the curtain and Jim would say his favourite catch phrase “Look what you could have won”
I can imagine The Giants thinking that could have been us....look what we could have won...

Strong motivation for Giants to exact revenge on our home court. However, I'm hopeful our 3 point shooting drought will end on Friday. Full house of fans so should be a great atmosphere.

Well Urinal, I love watching those old episodes of Bullseye on challenge TV but I have no idea what you mean or what I would look up exactly! Are the visitors turning up by speedboat or something?

Well Urinal, I love watching those old episodes of Bullseye on challenge TV but I have no idea what you mean or what I would look up exactly! Are the visitors turning up by speedboat or something? "Heres what you could have won" Many a contestant from the midlands ended up winning a speed boat, I can imagine them dashing around the Birmingham canals, Keep out of the black and into the red, You get nothing in this game for two in a bed....

Saw one idiot who thought it was the other way round and hit 2 prizes they'd already won, subsequently losing them! Classic stuff.

Rocks away form is horrendous and we struggle away to sheffield would see sharks as pretty much favourites. Rocks newbie still to hit the ground running.

I thought tonight might be a difficult one for Riders, once again they are just too good
Looks like an interesting finish in store in Bristol though, Patriots will be one of the form teams in the league if they win tonight, I know they brought in a lot of players but the turnaround has still been pretty impressive

Flyers absolutely brain dead to end this game, Not sure they could’ve messed up more if they tried

Can't read too much in to beating the worst team in the league down both bigs but the Eagles offense was absolutely flowing tonight. Great stuff. Throw a non permit centre in the mix and we could definitely make a push for the playoffs.

Q2 was absolutely astounding from Riders. Great atmosphere in the arena too. Look forward to re-watching the game on Sky tomorrow morning.

Wow! for the Eagles tonight that was probably going to be our easiest win of the season. We played with so much freedom I was worried that we were going to hurt ourselves flying to high. Luckily only the Peel nose bleed st the beginning was the only casualty of the game.
Great to see Gordon play and how much offensive fire power he brings. Definately something we have been missing all season. And you can tell he loved the crowd and the crowd loved him. Plus having Louis back as well was also great to see and a pleasant suprise to. It was nice to feel more like a completed squad again even if we still lack a little depth.
As for Surrey though after that game I'd be seriously worried and say they need to step it up after that loss. Absolute shambles tonight on both ends of the floor and by the 4th Quarter I felt even I could have played defence for the Eagles and still stopped them from scoring. I can see why Derby beat them in the Trophy. Hopefully for them and Creons sake they put a better performance in next match. Otherwise asides from that fluke win against London they ain't winning any more games playing like that. By the end of it they looked like they didn't even belong in the league.
On another note whilst it was not Howard's fault tonight I wish the kids for chuck a duck would stop coming down to courtside so early!!! Refs had to stop the game again cause someone dropped a duck on court. Was almost wanting coach Mac to call a T/O just to get it over and done with early. Imagine if a player slips and gets injured and then their career is blighted or end all because they slipped on a plastic duck!

well 2nd week in a row Riders show defence wins games - and if they keep this up it will have won a championship before we even enter the run in of March and April. Impressive squad they have put in place with so much depth of the bench. Is 4pts in a period a record in the BBL period?

In the cup final Riders won the game in the 3rd quarter, Last night they went 1 better by winning it in the 2nd with suffocating defence, That block Geno did on Anderson was unbelievable, What I can’t understand is in the 4th Giants got back to around 13-14 down with 3-3.35 mins left and they kept Armstrong and Clark on the bench. A couple of scores and a stop or two would bring them right back in it, Its like they gave up for the whole of the 4th. Just hope that Big Mo injury is not to bad and recovery let’s him suit up Vs Lions.
