Hoping this will be a good and exciting final. Caledonia should be wanting to take advantage of home court and turn this game into a home game for them.
While Cheshire would be keen to defend their tittle and then perhaps look to become 3 time Trophy champs next season.
As a neutral I look forward to seeing the game and hope this competition isn't scrapped next season.

It'll be good to watch a final without Lions in it. Should be an entertaining contest.

The Gareth Murray Cup. Hoping for a Caledonian win, been supporting the Rocks far too long and saw no trophies in a decade. There’s the added bonus of a win getting it right up Duncan Smillie too.

It'd be funny if they lost, I have no love for the team name, yes the players are the same ones I've seen like Bunyan but I despise the name change.
If I was a Billionaire I'd buy the team, change the name back to the Rocks, stay at the Emirates, bring the old Rocky mascot back, costume that is, not necessarily the person wearing the costume.
I'd then have a link up with the Lady Rocks and bring them under the Glasgow Rocks banner playing as Glasgow Rocks Women. Plus if it were possible, have both teams play on the same day, give fans double Basketball.

This could be a tight final,
Both teams are 2-4 in their last 6 games, so neither are in particular good form.
I think the big home crowd will push it Gladiators way and it will be good for them to bring a trophy home for the first time in 20 odd years.

Conversely the home crowd could work against the Glads as they might start to feel the pressure a bit more. My heart says Cheshire but my head hasn’t a clue……too close to call…….perhaps o/t…….also depends on the injury situation.

Reallllly looking forward to this one, head says Caledonia edge it but Cheshire have a great record in finals they’ve gotten to under BT and for nostalgic reasons (and my old mates Jack and Dave) I’m firmly in Cheshire’s corner today.
Should be a tight game, could literally come down to who stays out of foul trouble. Will be a great spectacle either way I think.

It seems like a no-brainer to me. Don't scrap the BBL Trophy. Make it a competition for teams that are not competing in Europe.

Bit stupid of sky to be running NBA programming on one channel and WBBL/BBL on another. Why put something on that could potentially take away from your viewing figures for the British events?

FT at the the WBBL final… London 81 - 70 Leicester.
As a London fan (although a Sevenoaks fan in the WBBL) I’m obviously happy London won, but I’m equally happy this wasn’t a blow out repeat of the Cup final, that did absolutely nothing for the WBBL. But today, Leicester were competitive throughout, so even with London’s unparalleled investment I’ve got a bit more confidence the WBBL still has a future with them in.
I don’t really follow the WBBL that much, but Mikiah Herbert Harrigan is something else!

If the 3rd quarter meltdown is still to come then this is gonna get very messy.

2 points in it at halftime. Good effort to pull that back.

Gladiators struggled to cope with Nix's physicality for long stretches of the first half but warmed up from deep to hang in it. Scrappy game could go either way.

Congratulations Gladiators - pleased for Gareth Murray. Tight game both teams played well. Sloan stepped up big on the last play.
