Bristol on Friday then Plymouth on Sunday, presumably Eagles staying down there otherwise a lot of mileage for them. Could be an issue as the game against Patriots is definitely winnable.

Makes sense - do other teams have south west or even north east/Scotland away weekends, or is that too environmentally aware for the BBL fixture planners ?

Some interesting games today. I expect eagles to beat pats who Surrey aside are currently worst team in the league. Lions assuming they want to win it will win. I fancy an improved sharks to beat giants and riders beat Cheshire IF whelan and Washington back. If whelan missing then give nix a strong chance on their home court

If Riders can match their Friday performance then we stand a good chance against Nix but any dip in the level would spell trouble. Good prospect.

Assuming Cheshire show even a vague interest in defence then we will be in for a rougher ride than Friday.

Newcastle making Plymouth look like world-beaters. Hope 2nd half better.

After a great start Eagles seem to be struggling so far in Plymouth. Right now it looks like Patriots could decide to check Pat the Puppy into the game and they'll probably still be able to manage to win by 10 points. And foul trouble in the 2nd Quarter seems to have hurt us as well.
I think at half time Stetuel and Stronach should get on the phone to Derby Trailblazer and ask what was their blueprint for beating Plymouth last weekend. As right now we don't appear to have a clue.

Be nice if Cohn turned up to play this weekend, he’s been shocking

Pffts😵💫
Well a much stronger second half from the Eagles but the better team won in the end. And quite a bit of physical bumping and foul play from both sides if you ask me particularly from Defoe who got lucky and Dusha. Wouldn't have surprised me if during time outs when the lights went dark a quick swing was taken.
But overall an entertaining game to the end. I reckon of Johnson had of executed that dunk/layup to put us up by 4 which got blocked by Bell then we could have won that. Especially since both sides played so sloppy at the beginning of OT. But in the end Plymouth made the crucial buckets needed to win.
Well I know the season ain't over yet but with 3 straight losses on the bounce. And our next 4 games being Flyers, Riders, Riders and Lions. The Vertu Motors Arena might want to consider doing a special promotion on alcohol for the next couple of home matches as I think our playoffs hopes are pretty much dead in the water now.

With Koch only on 3 points and 0 rebounds at the half could be a long night for Sharks. Guards are active on D and Nelson has been excellent on offence when he's on the floor, but we're struggling to contain Lee and Green at the rim or get a hand up to Dirk. Sharks need to hang in there at the start of the third and not let the Giants build this lead

Wonder whether Riders can maintain their excellent first half form. If so, this will be a great weekend. Mackenzie has been phenomenal - just sublime.

Every time I watch Riders they seem to have improved. I’m looking forward to seeing them play Lions again.
