Sharks haven't been showing great form lately but there's a longstanding rivalry between our clubs so I'm expecting them to raise the standard of their play tonight. However, with Love properly bedded in now we should have plenty in the tank to win this quarter final.

Lions appear to have travelled up north with a fairly weak squad.
No Sam Dekker, Jordan Taylor, Kosta Koufos or Tomislav Zubcic.

Go Gladiators!!Dekker and Taylor both injured and undergoing treatment, Taylor likely to be back training in a week, Dekker in a couple of weeks. Oni also injured and receiving treatment. I agree with their line up tonight Caledonia have a chance here. |

Well this was definitely a night of double upset and a showing once again that big money doesn't guarantee a sweep in the BBL.
And as an Eagles fan it's a bonus to see Leicester lost as well.
Looks like the Trophy Final is going to be contested between 2 different teams to the recent Cup final.
And the Top 3 teams in the league have now all been eliminated its certainly looking like an interesting open contest.
For the teams remaining it looks like anyone one of them could take it now.
Perhaps even Surrey could beat Nix or Derby beat Plymouth even!
I just hope that these upset victories don't encourage 777 to be a sore lover and go through with the rumour to scrap the BBL Trophy next season.

Best, Sharma, Nelson and Hruban hardly played. Clearly a pre-determined approach by Coach Schmidt to give the opportunity to his bench Brits. I suspect he'd already broached that with 777

I'm now gutted the BBL didn't televised any of these games on Sky this weekend.
Both these games would have been a cracker to have had televised particularly on a night where their was no premier league football and not much else on.
Makes me wonder if they have a contract that states they cannot televise Cup or Trophy games except the Finals.
