The court looks alot like it was inspired by Golden State Warriors pattern style.
Looking forward to seeing if Riders can defy the odds.
Can't believe as an Eagles fan I'm actually backing Leicester but someone has to stop the Lions from sweeping this season.
I hope for a good game anyway.

Leicester ladies trying hard but London too fast and too big. Hope men's game a bit closer.
You would think that the arena commentator would know the rules but clearly not. Lions coach with a t does he not get a bonus if they don't win by 50

Hope for a better game of basketball to watch with the men. Its all very well saying the Lions are raising the profile but the last 3 or 4 hours wouldn't have had newcomers on the edge of their seats and encouraging them to go to a live game. Me, I went into the kitchen and did the washing up!!

Not a bad game so far but Lions look like they are in the driving seat despite a brave performance from Riders.
Not out of it yet though and I think it depends on how the 3rd Quarter goes as I expect either London will put it out of reach or Riders will close the gap and make it tight.
Look forward to hopefully seeing a exciting 2nd half.

Well better game then I expected and when they cut it to 4 point gap I was beginning to think Riders might just pull it off.
Although missed opportunities was what did it in the end for Leicester.
I thought it was rare to see Leicester play such physical defense today and get into team fouls.
Although when your up against a super team like London it's hardly surprising.
Seeing how both these teams are in separate brackets in the Trophy and if they finish 2nd in the League.
Could we potentially see 3 finals worth of Lions vs Riders?
If that happened and Leicester won the Trophy Final then it would make a spicy Playoff finals.
Overall though looked like a great crowd and presentation.
But what stood out to me was in the 4th Quarter seeing the sea of phone lights waving in the audience.
I don't know was the idea behind that but it looked really cool.

Think if Love had been with us a couple of weeks sooner that might have made the difference. Lions' defence smothered our 3 point shooting so next time we will have to find a way around that. Faster movement & passing might help there. Very proud of the team and coaching staff. Lions deserved their victory but Riders pushed them close, especially in Q4.

Also very proud. Showed that lions were worried at 4 difference when they went to dekker to run the game and started to run the clock.
Dekker delivered as he's paid to do

I chose a good first BBL game to go to. Riders played really well. Every player played well. It was a really physical game. The arena was full and it was a lively and friendly atmosphere.

First off Congratulations to all at London Lions you deserved your victory,
Very proud of our Riders for playing and never giving up right till the end.
I thought overall that Lions killed our 3 point game by playing so high, we could hardly get an open look and our game suffered for that.
Dekker is a difference class and what I like about him is he is a no nonsense player who just gets the job done in style.
I would love us to have another go at them in the trophy final with Love being up to speed.
Big shout to our fans, we turned out in big numbers and we were so loud and proud.
