Be great to see Justin Gordon back in action and hopefully William Lee for giants, eagles need to keep nick lewis in check as he did them last game when they controlled Fletch quite well

Eagles off to a flyer but Giants hauled them in. Very close game but French is having a great one so far. 15 points and 9 boards in the half, 6 offensive rebounds!

Have to feel desperately sorry for the player and for Riders just prior to the cup final as well. |

Just watched the end of third quarter in Eagles match Some comments about poor defence from Eagles But everything Giants tried went in tbf On fire for a few minutes Game over now as a result |

Eagles defence had a shocker 2nd and 3rd quarters and lost the game. Congratulations Giants your 3 point shooting/practice was superb. Yes our d was that bad. French had a superb game himself, shame about the rest of the team.
Here's one for the referees amongst us. 4th quarter, 4:47 to go and Giants inbound after a timeout. Whistle goes, Giants have 6 players on court at the inbound. Referees have a little huddle then give Eagles coach a T. Fletcher scores the free throw then Giants get the ball back on their backcourt sideline. I thought the punishment for 6 players on court was a coach technical for the offending team. Check it out, definitely 6 Giants on court. If anyone can explain why we got the T I would love to hear from you.

What the hell goes on between the Giants ears? About the 5th game in a row where they give up around 30 in Q1. And that last five has to be some of the sloppiest basketball ever. Sure, a 20 point lead is very comfortable but giving Eagles a look and needing Dirk to hit all the foul shots is bordering on unforgivable. If Vince doesn’t light them up I imagine Dave F will on Sunday  |

Commentator is Dan Black I believe. Used to work for Metro Radio, now Eagles Comms and technology guru. Never liked Howard as a commentator, too clichéd but I hope all is well for the fella.

Riders were playing a good team in Cheshire but we never looked like losing tonight and our 3 point shooting was excellent. Solid team effort with points shared between the players. Big crowd in this evening and I'm guessing, like me, they enjoyed the win despite the sour taste of (what looked like) a serious injury to Bandoo.
