In these 2 games I would probably favour Cheshire after what I have recently seen of us although last time we were on sky we managed to play well and get a win. Hopefully it will add extra motivation to actually play decent this time and some defence.
As for the other game I agree that Lions playing 24 hours after Eurocup is not ideal but this will be where we will get to see how effective their depth in there roster actually is. And for Giants I'm sure they will be wanting to take advantage of them Lions playing back to back though.

Solid start for Lions, not hitting much from outside but just one turnover in the first quarter
Probably wish the lead was even bigger considering Giants are 3-17 shooting though

Great finish to the half, was looking like it could be a 10 point or so lead, but a couple of big shots and it’s 19 and very tough for Giants to get back into it now
Can’t be complacent though because too many times it’s happened for Lions
Never seen these adverts before either but Lions having 2 very professional looking adverts for their gear/merch is a terrific look

Horrendous 3rd quarter from both teams, Lions reserves were so poor, Giants didn’t do enough to capitalise
I know we all talk about how deep the lions are (and obviously they are) and I know it’s difficult coming in and performing in limited minutes
But the likes of Soluade, Queeley and JWH have all been incredibly poor tonight. Queeley and Mo have been crap all season really, Hibbert gets a bit of leeway because he just hasn’t played much at all
Very disappointing

. Nice to see Cheshire’s old home the Northgate Arena on the news tonight, doubling as the by-election counting hall. I voted for an Eagles defence to turn up along with the Phoenix tomorrow !

Let's be honest whilst many people laughed and critised London it looks like Europe is starting to pay off for them. Suprised Giants have been struggling the past few games.

Dark brown brick walls didn’t help , but there were still foldaway hoops on them.

Consensus seems to be Giants squad has the quality but not the depth Easy for Lions to exploit that I guess Green had to play 40 mins for them last night! And Fletch 36 mins

And Fletch 36 mins I thought Giants did well to remain competitive throughout the game. London Lions have so much height and so much depth. Giants should be proud of that performance.

Out of interest, do we know to what extent Lions are giving away free tickets these days? Apart from the £1 tickets at Wembley a few weeks back I'm not aware of any large-scale giveaways recently, but I'm probably not in right circles to be seeing them.

Attendances are getting bigger and they’re winning games I'm not sure letting a load of people in for free would be considered to be 'paying off'. They sold about 60 tickets for the first Euro game last season, it got better from that point but not much better This season they’re getting consistent 1000+ crowds on weeknights, obviously the cheaper tickets is a very big part of that, but it’s only top tier seats that are cheap, and the expensive tickets are still getting sold Not only that but I’m consistently seeing people on Twitter saying they enjoyed themselves at their first game and plan to go back What would you consider ‘paying off’ at this stage?
