Bottom of the table clash on Sky Sports Have scorchers been on sky yet? Presume they have to show all teams I think this will be their first game on Sky. On the plus side it should be a competitive game and it’s a lively venue. I just hope the quality of the basketball is high. |

I suppose from a sky perspective fans maybe intrested to see if Scorchers can change things with a new coach in charge and former GB Skipper now manager. Although I think right now despite not being perfect we are to powerful for Scorchers. As for the other games Glads and Flyers could go either way and same with Riders and Nix. |

I don't think this will be competitive Although Eagles have struggled they are going to be much too strong for Scorchers Disagree, I'm expecting a competitive game this Friday. Surrey have strengthened over the past week and I'm expecting a tough game. Can't understate the psychological aspect of being 0-6, that puts them under extra pressure to get a win. Eagles players might just be that bit more comfortable after getting some wins on the board. |

Fair enough But if ever Eagles are going to win comfortably at home this season then it should be this match I'm sure Steutel will have the players up for it I predict a double digit win for eagles |

I agree with that, it could be a marker for the rest of the season. Good or bad.
These are games they 'should' be winning if they are going to be a top half team. I just don't want to take Surrey lightly, as they're dangerous and have some really talented players.

However given where we are right now I don't think we have any right to take them lightly or underestimate them. Plus already this season we got a great win over Bristol and then followed it up with a terrible game against Sheffield 2 days later. Hopefully the same Eagles that played Patriots show up and we can start a winning streak. |

Wasn't looking forward to games against Riders but certainly not as impressive as last season. The loss of Crandell hasn't been solved and with Walker missing this could be a chance before Paternoster can work his magic and recruit. |

why do they schedule the same game 1wk after it was just played?
So just a month into the season, Gladiators wont be in league action in Bristol again.
(on a similar topic - Lions dont visit Scotland in the 22 part of the 22-23 season)

Surrey have been the better team and not only are they dressed like it but defensively we're making the Scorchers look like Miami Heat.
Amazed its only 38-31 but right now Surrey will have probably gone into the locker rooms really fancying there chances here.

Eagles seem a bit flat to me Scorchers want it a bit more Steutel needs to put a rocket up the arses of Eagles players Defoe looks like a bad hamstring injury That's not going to help Eagles will do well to win from here |

Again a few dodgy calls from our friends in pink probably cost us the win but hey ho we are playing riders shouldn’t expect anything else really bbl is the same as the premier league so called bigger teams get those calls having said that well played nix pushed them all the way
