Agree with Baldeagle's summary. Lions had the talent to win but Rob had the nouce. Reece's lack of control is the reason he is not in a better league. I thought Tawiah had a decent game. The least said about that final play the better. For Riders, Nelson-Henry was a beast in the paint but it was the team game that won. Definitely one to watch again. Riders, keep humble and enjoy the ride. Really disappointed in the negativity. Eagles had a collection of haters when we were dominant, I suppose it goes with the territory. Maybe Solly should change his name to Salty? Blueskies99, your reaction while understandable is offensive and one I am surprised hasn't been moderated. Eagles used to get relentless abuse for the whole 'plastic Brits' thing. Especially from Rocks and Riders fans. Nothing new with the dominant team attracting grief. The argument seems to have dried up with Leicester fans with then having Walker, Macenzie and Adekoya 😂 |

It greatly disappoints me that when this new forum was set up there was a lot of chuntering about whether or not certain WhatsBev users should be permitted to join lest they soil the new environment, yet one of my fellow users of the new forum has now committed that very offence. Aside from whatever insults may have gone back and forth behind the scenes, I can never recall such offensive and directly-aimed language being used on WhatsBev. It greatly disappoints me that a fellow user of this forum lacks the ability to argue their point and instead chooses to belch out an extremely offensive word. It greatly disappoints me that some other users even then applaud this extremely offensive insult. Apart from anything else, because of the brevity of blueskies99's post, I am left unable to fathom why he has become so engorged about my original post... |

Perhaps if you had not made a series of offensive posts we would not have had that reaction.
Let the moderaters do our job, and if you are unhappy about a post report it and we will discuss the matter privately.

A few random thoughts:
1. The negativity goes with the territory. When Eagles dominated there was plenty of it & every team brought their best game. Riders should treat it as a compliment.
2. I understand why Crandall picked up the MVP award, and he bossed the last 5 mins, but up to then the most influential player was Conner (plus DNH for his efforts I getting Kelley sat down with fouls). I actually thought that Lions dealt well with agent until the last quarter when they put JWH on him rather than Washburn.
3. Here’s a controversial discussion point - might Lions have won that one with Vince in charge of a happy squad?

But it remains disappointing that it took nearly 24 hours to remove a vile word from this board. I appreciate that a moderator role is not always straightforward but why not make it easier on the moderator role by simply not tolerating foul terms, simply deleting them and not leave them on display or, even worse, defend their use and even attack those who have been attacked rather than admonishing the attacker. I have been publicly admonished for banter yet there has been no admonishment that anyone can see for someone who has descended from banter into a vile insult. I do hope there is no Leicester bias involved in the moderator decisions... |

As the moderators come from various parts of the country, and all, I believe, support different teams, your allegation of a "Leicester bias" is not only totally inaccurate, but actually offensive.
We will moderate in a way that is, as much as possible, totally fair and unbiased. As previously stated, if you have concerns about any post, use the reporting process, and the matter will be reviewed privately.

I agree with point 2 to a certain extent I thought Conner was heading for MVP at one stage should we have won But TBF Crandall was imperious those last five minutes when the pressure was well and truly on And was rightly MVP as a result IMO Absolute top quality when he truly needed to be He saw us home |
