There is more, a lot more, than selling seats. The fact the players know when they sign they will get good quality accomodation, provided by one the the countries leading homebuilders, Jelson, they they know they will receive top quality healthcare, including optical and dental care, the fact that the players have access to specialist sports physios and chiropractors. Plus the know they will be paid, on time and in full. Riders also have a wide range of comercial partners, who have been involved for many years. Which does suggest they are providing a positive return on investment for their partners. Remember we are still in the recovery stage from a global pandemic, all forms of indoor entertainment are struggling to sell seats. Given time the spectator numbers will grow again, and even half full Riders have a bigger attendance than most BBL sides! I agree with all of this except for indoor venues struggling to sell tickets. Trying to book theatre tickets they seem to be selling out fast and the prices have gone up. You might have some more information on this, I’m just saying that’s not how it seems.

How is it any different to the years on end when Eagles were at the top and dominating everything? Nothing lasts forever, Riders will eventually slip down. I keep saying nobody should want Riders to slip down What they should want is Riders to stay at a high level and other clubs to emulate or overtake Riders Let's see BBL improve together

Leicester are ruining the British game. That's a real losers comment tbh Riders are the pride of British Basketball

To answer Dexters question.
Lots of live music venues are struggling to sell tickets, and are calling off shows due to poor advanced ticket sales.
I'm not sure of the situation for live theatre, but I'd be surprised if they were operating at full capacity.
The hatred and negativity in some comments is very disapointing, Riders have achieved their success, by working hard to grow their support and build the structure of the club, by organic growth, It is not a situation where a large investor has come along and bought success.

I agree with Mile high, as much as I hate to admit it because their our long time rivals Leicester have earned their success and definately aren't ruining the game. As I said on the my post for the final if anything they are now setting the bench mark. If anything other teams this season would be wanting to immulate the same formula right now. And winning aside I think other than Leicester the league and other teams still have goals and achievements they could be proud of and are starting to come on as a franchises. Plus again Riders got the Treble but they let one get away in the form of the Trophy. And as I have said it before I think next season will be difficult for them to top unless they make a sweep. And if this exact same team returns will teams be Wiser and have Riders figured out. Only time will tell.
