Based on recent weeks I predict they both somehow find a way to lose whilst looking disinterested in the final quarter!!

It did occur to me while posting it that this is almost like the race to the bottom based on recent form!

Considering Lions got a win on Sunday whilst both teams are struggling to find rhythm I certainly do favour the Lions over us at the moment.
If the Eagles turn up and its competitive I like to think it will be at least closer and we gave Lions a good battle last time at the Cooper Box.
Although as seen over the course of this season we never seem to be able to carry momentum over even after an emphatic win.

Eagles are the perfect team to play at the moment for the Lions. A nice easy run out where you just get all the shots you want.

Eagles have got nothing defensively for Lions bigs and a tired Fletch playing 40 minutes whilst Lions can easily swap between Reese and JRob to keep things fresh. The only hope Eagles have is Lions think the game is already won and Fletch drops 30 and 20 and Sayers, Person and Johnson shoot the lights out from 3. We certainly aren't going to get anything easy inside.

Don’t think we will be getting anything out of Person - missing injured/ unwell last week.

Even though Lions are up and down themselves
Would be a big shock if Eagles can win this
I predict a comfortable Lions win

Just had a tasty wager on London Linos for the 9.5pt handicap W, and an accompanying cheeky minor bet on Linos to exceed 26pts.
Cashback!

Am surprised how Newcastle are staying in this one at HT.
Having said that, I think it's more about Linos allowing them to hang around.
I like this young guy who's stepped up from the B team. In fact he's contributing more than Robinson.
The cost/value equation on Robinson needs to be studied.

Eagles dead on their feet now. Better performance than the disaster against Sharks for the first three quarters. Lions have shot the light out but they were allowed to really.

Fletch 39 minutes for 2 points
That must be a record low return for him
1 from 10 field goals

I agree in terms of his performance in the Trophy final, not so much in this game though. I still don’t think Robinson is fully recovered from the injury he got at the end of last season. And I doubt he’s been one of the most expensive players this season.
