I thought it would be fun to have a thread to track where ex-2023-24 BBL players are going.
Has Sam Decker managed to get an NBA contact?
Gabe Olaseni and Conor Morgan are going to play in the Basketbol Super Ligi in Turkey.

Nix captain and all round superstar Maceo Jack is playing in France next season. He's a big loss to the Nix but Coach Thomas has a very good record on recruitment.

Ricky McGill has signed for Dziki Warszawa of Poland. They're in ENBL. Hopefully he'll be back at Vertu Motors Arena.

Ricky McGill has signed for Dziki Warszawa of Poland. Gutted to hear this but then again I knew it was going to be tough to retain him or JJ for that matter. If we're playing in the ENBL hopefully we will sign a team just as strong and exciting if not better. It would also be good to see Ricky back at the arena if we face this team in the ENBL even if we'll be praying he doesn't shoot the lights out against up.

Tajh Green joins Vince at Artland Dragons. Looking like a bit of an Exodus at Newcastle too - will be interested to see if they continue to pursue the UK-tested policy of last year’s roster (aka lazy recruitment) or try to recruit/gamble on some talent that is new to the country.

Sharma signs for Bursapor, that's quite the jump, not convinced he's that good as much as I enjoyed his game over here

I wouldn't call it an Exodus compared to Lions. We all know the reason Lions have lost their superstars was because 777 screwed up. Whereas the Eagles we lost our talent because they were great players who were going to be difficult to keep without having to match the better offers they were going to get elsewhere. Plus their was also the unknown of if their was or wasn't going to be a BBL next season which probably factored in as well. Although looking at that we are going to attempt ENBL we are definitely going to need to recruit soon and get a big team of players that will actually play most the season this time. One of the things Paul Blake said we lacked going into the ENBL was depth. My question is are we going to be able to build on that and bring more depth in. As much as I understand the want for bringing back the Salary cap and import rule. At the same time for teams like Eagles, Gladiators and Flyers going in Europe I reckon if the league brings these restrictions in it will harm our chances at contential success and make things more difficult there.
