I predict Riders, Nix and Gladiators to win. I hope I'm wrong on the Nix game though and Eagles can start to show some resurgence after last week's debarkle.
Apart from Riders vs Giants though which I cannot see Riders losing the other games I could see the other games go either way. Should be a fun final fight for positioning this weekend.

Flyers v Glads should be a good game.

It will be interesting to see how engaged Cheshire are with nothing to play for. I'm guessing Eagles will be wanting to secure 5th with two wins to get Riders and avoid Flyers/Sharks in the 1st round. This is assuming Riders beat Giants but I reckon Giants will have one foot on the flight home already given their terrible form in the second half of the season.

I think Giants left the building about at Christmas, I am not sure what to expect from Cheshire, they wont want any injuries as anything now will have an impact on the playoffs. Its probably the same for Newcastle tbh, is an extra place higher going to worth a player out for the first round of the playoffs. The only thing to really play for would be home court advantage, but I can't see Sharks losing to Plymouth oe Leicester losing to Giants. I think overall Leicester will take 4th, Sheffield 5th Newcastle 6th. Which would give London v Surrey, Cheshire v Bristol, Leicester v Sheffield & Caledonia v Newcastle. Three of which look like very good contests.

So are Nix definitely secured 2nd as I thought they were still in a fight with Gladiators for 2nd spot?

Nooooooo, Nix secured 2nd place with last week results. Gladiators/Nix joint 2-2 wins same points scored/against so it's total points score/ against AND Nix are over 100 points ahead

Think the better game to watch will be Bristol Caledonia, most now just going though the motions

The excitement for me will be guessing which quarter Eagles have their customary meltdown tonight - at least if it's Q4 we'll have a close game for 30minutes !

Hoping Cheshire don't rest players, really wanted to see them full strength.

Hoping Cheshire don't rest players, really wanted to see them full strength. So do you want to maintain your winning basketball keepjng all the players at their peak? Or just turn up play 15 mins of starting 5 then run the bench for 25 mjns? Suspect Ben won't want to ease up though.

Leicester in turmoil…. A lot of the league has caught up and gone past them now. Very poor recruitment this season.

Well that was a satisfying watch for a full VMA - Eagles actually keeping a lead down the stretch and missing less free throws than Nix ! Great to see the points shared out with 6 players in double figures as well. Still think we'll fall at the first playoff hurdle - unless it's against Riders ?!?

and does anyone know how the scoreboard added 2 points to Nix when no basket was scored at the end of Q2 ?
