Looking forward to watching Eagles vs Riders.
Now that both teams have reached the end of the season and could be possible playoffs first round opponents this game should be interesting.
Going off the season as a whole in theory I like to think we should be the favourites for this one now that we have gelled and aren't short handed due to injuries.
Although with Teddy Allen back and wanting to make up for being absent last weekend we cannot allow him to shoot the lights out.
Hopefully for Riders sake Rob will manage to stay courtside for the full game this weekend and avoid going to double overtime.
As i said on the Thursday thread I have a feeling Eagles will go 1 for 1 this weekend.
So we will either win tommorow but lose this one.
Or lose tommorow and win this one.
Whatever happens I just hope the Eagles are the ones dropping Easter Eggs on Leicester this weekend.

Well we lost to Gladiators tonight in a thriller so if my prediction is correct then we should win this game if we are to go 1-1.
I hope Riders end up playing so hard against Sharks they end up being extra worn out by the time they play this Sunday.

Or maybe there was something in those half time oranges. But pleased at least to see fight and commitment - the conundrum is why they can’t produce like that 2nd half more consistently. |

I didn't get to see much of the game today but looking at the stats it looks like Delpheche is stepping up which is great to see.

Fantastic up and down game, great entertainment. Coach doubling down on keeping Delpeche and the 4 starters in after the break getting it done. Tahj hitting 3 3s in a row turning the game on its head after looking like Eagles had blown it after getting up from being 16 down.

The Scottish refs are abysmal the gladiators have to put up with their bad calls all the time at least the teams in England get a break. On the gladiators documentary the players discussed how terrible they were.

That's the most un-Paternostro Riders team I've seen. Defensively all over the place and let an Eagles team who were full of mistakes themselves take a much needed win. Not really sure how Eagles did that, some of the decision making from them was atrocious.
Don't envy Rob having to coach Teddy Allen, the guy is a clown.

Eagles came out in Q3&4 and were much more aggressive in terms of defence and that proved to be the difference.
