Depending what happens of Friday in Leicester, this could be the game for Lions to win the Championship. If you can shut down McKenzie and Allen on the Riders, they don't have much to hurt you with. Lions with a home W
Phoenix v Sharks, I would have been much more confident with a Phoenix win a few weeks ago, but Sharks proved they now know where the bucket is v Riders last week. Still think Phoenix will have too much for them tho Home win for the Phoenix

Since Leicester beat the Nix last night in order to give Lions the tittle. Do you think they will get the honours of presenting and delivering the tittle as well to them?
I don't know whether I can say congratulations to the Lions since we knew it was pretty much given before the season tipped that they were going to win.
Although if the funding stories around 777 are true I wonder if this is whether the money starts to dry up. Either way I hope Lions fans really soak up the glory tommorow if the looming fears of them going extinct happens.
On the actual game side of things I wonder how much Lions are going to risk with their team since I'm sure they will be focused on their big Eurocup match this upcoming week. If their looking for a good dress rehearsal partner I think the Riders should give them a good game for practice.

Hopefully Lions will have had a great session lasting early into Saturday morning and they are still feeling a tad delicate.
Riders are at full strength apart from Russell and will be full of confidence after Friday victory.
So should be a pretty decent game to watch.

Decker is back. Lions are looking dominant. Nice to have a good commentary team.

Seeing Sam Decker, Connor Morgan and Josh Sharma all on court at the same time just seems unfair.

Depressing all round for Riders, especially with Kimbal picking up an injury. Lions are a different level.

Well Lions certainly aren't showing the Riders any mercy today. I suppose looking at the crowd numbers and with a trophy presentation I'm guessing they wanted to really make it a party today.
At this point I wonder if they will atleast let the Riders stay for some cake?

In the end it was a very good performance by Leicester in the second half without Kimbal. That's the strongest Lions line-up for a while. Decker and Nwaba to cope with! Shelton finally showed up in a game and did well.

With the removal of the salary cap, it would be really interesting to see teams approx salary figures for the season made public, have seen it done in other leagues in Europe. LNB is very transparent about it and I like that. Because at the moment people are picking figures out the air.

To be fair they may have already done, I'm sure someone out there will enlighten me.

Didn't expect London to pick such a strong lineup, but when I saw it the result was expected.
