adding a new PG should swing this for Gladiators I think
It also shows the difference having own court makes - the new guy has come in and is practicing with the guys on the court he will be playing on come Thursday evening. Great acclimatisation.
Past seasons he would have had his first sessions perhaps on the Kelvin Hall court, or the Ally McCoist sports centre - or if lucky on the middle court at the Emirates sport hall. However it would have been with the sideline boarding and nets in place most of the time.
Instead he is practicing on the game day court in full setup at PlaySport.

I looked at the Sky schedule and looks like the game has now been moved to the correct time on the box except it says it is not Live.
So looks like we have a Sky game being televised this week after all.

To be honest it was amusing watching Todd trip over his words. He ended up calling Kyle Johnson, Kyle Jimenez in the 4th. Ofcourse their going to mention London as someone has to promote this All Star game that we have to pretend to care about. A game that was clearly controlled by Caledonia from start to finish as Gladiators took no prisoners with that performance. Suprised to see Pat Whelan out but I'm guessing the way he was talking about the GB squad I will assume whatever he has is a minor injury. Fortunately tonight Gladiators didn't really need him and he could afford the night off. |
