This'll be a challenge for Riders. When Surrey are on song they're a tricky team. Defence and looking after the ball will be key for us to secure the win.

Good win from Surrey so despite being a back 2 back game tomorrow they'll be confident they can perform well against Riders. Jamison, Robinson and Lawrence are always a threat and Wang can be explosive as a scorer, if it's his night. Bit streaky but if he's in form he's tough to stop. Perimeter defence will be important given how many threes they attempt.

I expect this new look Leicester to defeat Surrey especially after tonights close shave against Sharks unless Gardiners plan was to risk a 4th Quarter meltdown and save some energy for the road.
In the other game unless Cheshire have over done the post Trophy partying I can't see this being anything other then Nix victory.
Although in a back to back it wouldn't suprise me if the plan is to let Manchester run it close in order to save themselves for the Eagles game at home the next day and the Trophy homecoming celebration.
After a tough loss the other day Giants are going to want to come out with a response. Mind you after what happened post Patriots the other day I can't imagine it is a happy camp at the Giants right now.

I'm not confident for Scorchers today. Our starting 5 played big minutes last night and we basically only used 2 subs. Felt to me like we decided we were winning yesterday at all costs and whatever happens today happens. Wouldn't mind seeing some fringe players get a run out tbh.

I wonder if the Giants will change their intro music to the Rocky theme tune after the other night.

Wang trying to lock out the plays of the week list in Q1.
Q2 the whole thing has unravelled. Andrew Lawrence of all people ejected for talking to the refs, then Lloyd Gardner gets a tech as well. Now Saiquan is off holding his hamstring and we’re down by 22.
Got everything crossed for Jamison because without either him or Hunt we haven’t got a chance against anyone.
Mysteriously our young bench players who barely played yesterday nowhere to be seen as well. Unsure if our div 3 team had a game today but would explain.

Our three point shooting and rebounding is serving us well so far. The former may cool down but need to keep our foot on Surrey's throat by winning the boards in Q3 & 4.

My assumption that we'd cool down with 3 pointers was way off - 27 attempted and 51% made. Great win by Riders but a special mention for Padiet Wang who was excellent tonight. Definitely got some highlight plays for the BBL replay reels.

Reasonable win for Nix, opened up playing excellent team basketball eventually being up almost 30 points at times. Became sloppy and with some starters sitting down for periods the end score looked as though Giants gave us a close game. But not really, only some lackluster defending and Walsh's determination and good shooting made the end score look respectable.

Walshe has improved exponentially since joining Giants. Proved to be a really hard working, talented player.
