Riders deserved it. Kimbal really excellent.
Eagles fought hard but with four players out, and both Darius & Delpeche I’ll all week, it was always going to be a struggle. The key now will be how soon the absentees will be back in action - I’m hearing a couple of weeks for them all, possibly a bit less for Will Neighbour. And whether we will ultimately see what Scott Spencer can do once he is free of back pain.

Think that shows London perhaps don't have the strength in depth people moan about, could have been a much bigger score if Bristol had their shooting boots on. And Leicester were terrific, well deserved winners.

And Leicester were terrific, well deserved winners. Nah, unlike most teams Lions clearly have depth and more players then most clubs. Most players probably just fancied the night off and strategically no one saw the point in risking guys for a dead rubber especially away. Can't blame the Lions for it as it makes sense. Although saying the Lions don't have depth is definitely bull. As for Leicester last night the only thing that surprised me was how they had 3 players foul out. While Teddy Allen and Duke were fine additions to their squad. I do think Leicester need to be a little more careful in the finals to avoid fouling out at big moments.

And Leicester were terrific, well deserved winners. Have to disagree with you about Riders being 'terrific'. We turned the ball over way too many times and a fitter Eagles roster would have been much tougher to beat. We'll have to take better control of the ball in Birmingham. Our 3 point shooting as a team was really good though. Not saying we were poor but we weren't terrific. Still lots for Coach Rob to improve.

Think Teddy was so frustrated by the fact that every time he got the ball he had Austin Jr as well.

Watching in person, you can see why he's not playing at a higher level. Just doesn't have the temperament. Maybe just a bad night for him though.

Think Teddy was so frustrated by the fact that every time he got the ball he had Austin Jr as well. Trying too hard to do it all by himself. Yet he can provide top quality assists. Just needs to achieve a better balance between individualism and team ball. Getting stripped by Defoe illustrates that.

Does this mean we don't have a crisis?
Can Rob survive the season after all?

The luxury of having a Full roster to run with

Does this mean we don't have a crisis? Can Rob survive the season after all? It’s the bbl you are only 1 loss away from a Crisis

Does this mean we don't have a crisis? Can Rob survive the season after all? Certainly not a crisis, but not going to be anywhere near best of the rest this season. They beat a six man team who'd been ill all week, not the 86 Celtics. I am slightly worried for Rob's mental state during games though, he called a kid an asshole last night. Lol.

Shame, as he comes across well on the BBL coverage.

LOL To be honest eventhough its at my fanbase hearing this actually probably makes me respect Robbie P alot more. 🤣 In fairness to Rob we Eagles fan love to give the other teams and even the ref stick from time to time. So long as it doesn't cross the line like the time when Yorrick Williams went into the crowd and had a minor altercation with a fan then I don't mind the other team dishing it back to us. Back on a serious note I think if we weren't shorthanded we probably could have pushed for a tight 4th Quarter. Although people are criticising Allen I think again having the numbers made a difference not just fatigue wise but also strategy wise. For the Eagles I felt we kept going for the open 3 ball alot and forcing us outside due to us having 3 quick guards that could run quickly inside. Which meant we were easier to figure out. Whereas Leicester as soon as things weren't working with Mo or Teddy they could sub them out and bring someone in to change the game. Whilst Eagles even when things weren't working we had to run with the same 6 players with limited options. And once JJ fouled out Riders knew the 5 left on the floor were playing the game out until Kande eventually featured.

First of all it shouldn't come as a surprise that you can have 4 players injured at one time. Furthermore a coach's job isn't to just rotate players to rest them. He should be able to make tactical changes and bring on players with different strengths. I actually think Eagles's 6 players are 6 of the best players in the league, but there are only 6 of them. An NBA roster has 15 players. London Lions must have about 15 players.

LOL Whether the kid is an expert is neither here or there, it doesn't detract from the fact Rob can be an absolute fucking child on the sideline. Seen it for years.

To be honest I think Rob has calmed down alot. He used to be very over the top on the sidelines. However in recent years I think he has been alot calmer and less animated. That being said in most Eagles games against Riders I don't think he has had as much reason to be as erratic especially when Riders have been in control like last night.

Nope, was sitting a few rows behind me. Not irate at all either, just find it interesting how thin skinned the guy can be.
