Was this asshole kid one of yours….your getting quite irate and upset about it…. and your foul language is uncalled for…..no wonder some kids can be such assholes. Nope, was sitting a few rows behind me. Not irate at all either, just find it interesting how think skinned the guy can be. During the games (and perhaps during some intense training sessions) I honestly believe he's an entirely different persona to what he is when the adrenalin isnt switched on IMO it's an actual strength of his to be SO driven and intense to win a game of basketball that his normal politeness and demeanour changes to almost manic levels So you've seen the bad side of him there. But don't think he can change it or even knows the extent he reaches during games Away from competition I believe he's the actual complete opposite. And total gentleman. Still yet to see him show his firey/argumentative match temperament in a TV interview where he's always so calm and controlled and chooses his words so well Compared to just a few minutes earlier Think others on here have heard him offer to fight fans outside after the game (during matches) Lol He's such an extreme character in match mode its untrue In sport I would love to play for coaches like him. They invariably get the most from players IMO We will all miss his character when he's gone from BBL That's for sure

any coach (or player) who finds themselves reacting in such a way to a kid in the crowd should have a good look in the mirror and have a think about it - and as part of that reflection consider how they would feel if they heard at a game someone had turned round a responded to one of their kids in a similar way

I think he went overboard on Friday and would do well not to get riled by the gentlest of ribbing, but I also wouldn't want him to change. He's one of the best ambassadors for the BBL we have.

That's a bit rich considering how Johnson and others on the Eagles roster lost it late in the game. Pretty sure a riders Player grabbed him by the neck and JJ wasn’t impressed Lol sure. Conner just thought he'd randomly start choking Johnson with about 5 minutes left in a blowout. Typical Conner Washington that. Always has been an absolute hothead. Honestly what is it with this Riders team!? If it's not Conner it's Ted. If it's not Ted it's Rob. If it's not Rob it's Pablo. Just an absolutely despicable bunch. Given how appallingly we behaved Friday, I'm beginning to think we're lucky not to have been made to forfeit.

All the players have that sly aggressive streak in them when they aren’t suited

I remember a tangle up but missed the choke if that really happened. Now it makes sense why JJ absolutely knocked Washington into next week with that follow up offensive foul. Whilst our team and some players have clearly lacked discipline at times. I would trust JJ not to lose his cool unless he was provoked first like with Onwas back in November. I might have to go back and look at the footage from when that happened. As for Riders compared to their 1st and 2nd visit to the VMA I didn't think they lacked discipline at all. Although that being said it was there game pretty much for the taking. And if it had of been different then maybe tempers would have risen from both sides again.

Funny story when I was in the league I gave an interview saying how my mum hated him because he was really angry on the side - all light hearted of course. He drops me a message saying he found the whole thing hilarious and wanted to apologise to her... He's a good guy. The BBL is far better for having him round. But we know that surely.

I've heard that Bigz's mum had a great 3 point corner shot when Bigz was in nappies.

That's a bit rich considering how Johnson and others on the Eagles roster lost it late in the game. Pretty sure a riders Player grabbed him by the neck and JJ wasn’t impressed If the incident you refer to is the one with 6:51 to go in the 4th quarter…….Green got the rebound from a failed free throw, Conner was marking Johnson closeley and preventing him from receiving the ball, he never received the ball but their arms became interlocked, they both appear to have attempted to un-lock their arms. No idea what was said but at no point was Johnson “grabbed by the neck”. If this wasn’t the incident I’d be grateful if you could indicate at which point in the game it happened.
