Hi I was looking online and I noticed the Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Newcastle next month on Saturday 24th Febuary and I was debating whether or not it would be worthwhile seeing?
To be honest I am suprised their playing at the Ultilita when their is a basketball purpose venue with the Eagles literally 5 minutes walk up the road from that arena.
I was wondering if anyone who has been to it on here would recommend it?

If you’ve never seen them before it’s worth going, particularly if you take some younger kids who will love it.
Accept it for what it is. Entertainment based around a sport you clearly enjoy.
I saw them when I was about 15 back in the 80s at Wembley and then again about 6 years ago in Newcastle with my then 6 year old. Both enjoyable and they’ve updated the show for the modern era.
Just don’t expect the NBA!

Just like hayesboy I went when I was a kid and more recently with young kids. Loved it both times, as did my children, but you need to go looking forward to a basketball themed entertainment evening rather than anything close to a competitive/ serious game. And, if you do, you’ll have fun, although the merch prices will make you realise what good value the Eagles stuff is!
