www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/plymouth-news/four-arrested-after-plymouth-night-9024998This has spread like wildfire around Plymouth this past few days of exactly who the 4 were who were arrested. Allegedly they are high profile names and those names aren't being released - for now, and 4 are allegedly pro sportsmen on the same team. They were released on bail pending enquiries - couldn't get more serious if true. If this was your team - how would you want this dealt with? The story behind this is truly shocking and while much can't be published due to ongoing investigations, needless to say it will bring complete shame on those involved and all associated.

No mention anywhere about sport in the article.

They were off duty on a night out so weren't there in a sports capacity so were "joe public" in that regard. In due course and should charges be brought - the case appears to be ongoing til March, you'll be able to see exactly what and who their employer is and it will make for some very uncomfortable reading.

Do the Patriots actually have 4 men "from Plymouth" on their roster?

They have 0 janners, players, coaches or staff. I think the report just means 4 people living in Plymouth as its published in devon not just Plymouth

Gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that this will come to little to nothing, nobody outside the Patriots detractors will be all that bothered and the world will be as you were.
Could be wrong though.

At least if it was Pats players there's a good chance if they swung a punch, they'd miss...

Charles Yassi Peppin released yesterday by Patriots. Apparently the first to go wading in on a guy with a blunt object - allegedly. The other Patriots players involved are all being dealt with by the club with financial/salary penalties pending ongoing police investigations. A story that the club has done fairly well to sweep under the carpet it appears. Clearly an organisation without leadership, no discpline and players out of control.

Pattern emerging. After last night's handbags in Manchester, take your pick.
