Not sure what to expect from the Sharks as I haven’t seen them at all this year.
As always, if our 3s go in we’ve got a chance. If they don’t, we don’t.

Depends which Sheffield turn up, I think Surrey could take this one.

Looked like a horror injury for Hunt on the first play of the game.

Is points differential important in the Trophy group standings?
I can't find it anywhere but Ramsey was still playing pretty hard right to the final whistle, even with Sharks down 20 - and no one on Scorchers seemed bothered by it.
I guess it would make sense as a tie breaker in what is a very short group stage?

I guess if two teams are level on points at the end of the group stage, their H2H result will dictate who finishes higher.

Good point. That would make more sense - especially as they're not showing points for/against on the official site.

Once again Sharks failed to score more fhan 20 points in a quarter. Suspect Dan Rouledge would know how often this occurs. I was catching up on the game tonight and most of the last quarter vanished, I presume it was a case of they ran out of the time they had paid for on the broadcasting system due to the long injury delay.

To be honest, more worried about the defense giving up 23 pts a quarter and so much in the paint - Mohamed posted 13 points above his average against us... Sharks have been hit by injuries - like every other team - but it appears to have really affected their coherence and consistency. The prospect of RJ being out for a long spell is the biggest loss IMO. Just a shout out to Okosieme who has looked so exciting in last couple of games - plays defence, grabs boards, super athletic and efficient on offense. If I were part of the Sharks organization I'd be going all out to recruit Okosieme and looking to build around him and RJ for next season.

That is a worry for me as a Scorchers fan - Okosieme leaving. I'm sure other teams can offer more attractive packages next year but you never want to see someone young and exciting leave for greener pastures.
4 rebounds and 4 blocks in 10 minutes yesterday!

Really? I would disagree but I understand your point. To me as much as I love the Eagles and the BBL I do also like seeing player go on to greater leagues and teams as well. Like if Tosan was not to make it in the NBA G League right now whilst I would love to see him back at the Eagles. At the same time for him I would rather see him playing in the top leagues and respectable leagues outside the NBA such as Spain etc... and maybe one day making it back to the NBA instead. I mean Surrey afew seasons ago did produced a phenomenal player in Cam Hildrith who went off to play college ball in the states. I'm sure when he finished college you would want to see him go down a similar path if not better.

Ahh, I should have clarified I meant BBL teams. I'd for sure follow his progress with enjoyment if he got a good offer overseas, but it would be a bit of a shame to see him go off to play for Newcastle, Leicester etc. - or even London (even if it would be understandable).
