Do you at least accept that 777 have the reputation and history of not paying bills and debts in a timely manner at all of their sports clubs? From what I've read and seen that appears to be unquestionable? Does that not anger you as to the impact a big organisation is having on all their smaller suppliers ? Stuff like this can put small businesses out of business in and around basketball? Can have a knock on effect on employee wages etc being paid on time. Staff having to be laid off. Are you happy with that? Is it defensible in any way? I'm interested in what your thoughts are? Or are all the unpaid or outstanding and late paid debts across the world (including BBL) just malicious rumours? How can it endear 777 to the public who want to support the sports and clubs that 777 are invested in? I'll let eillo23 respond, but absolutely none of the above has anything to with the BBL not live streaming tonight Leicester/Bristol game. We're mixing two entirely separate discussions here.

The Film and TV industry has massive capacity, so if they wanted, and were willing to pay, they could find good reputable production companies to produce, edit and transmit live coverage of a lot more than 2 games. Indeed most saturdays there is coverage available for about 60 EPL, EFL and SPL games as well as English, Scottish and Welsh rugby etc. 777 can claim it's logistical issues, but the truth is almost certain to be a failure to pay.Absolute rubbish. I'll say again, I'm not claiming there aren't issues with 777 Partners and the league, but the lack of live streaming coverage of the Leicester/Bristol game has absolutely nothing to do with failure to pay bills. I've worked in television production so know what I'm talking about here... Timeline - whose facilities the BBL hire, are a good reputable company with clients including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, ESPN, ITN, Whisper, Sunset + Vine, etc, etc. The fact is the BBL have a budget to hire Timeline's facilities to produce coverage of up to 2 simultaneous games, i.e. 2 production suits/galleries. Then of course there's the staff required to run those suits/galleries (directors, producers, etc.) and to deliver the coverage itself (commentators, etc.). You can't just increase it from 2 simultaneous games to 3 simultaneous games for the very rare occasion it's needed. Could the BBL produce coverage of up to 60 simultaneous games as per the EPL, EFL and SPL? Of course, if they had the budget to. Finally, and this won't make me any friends, but if you want to blame anyone for the lack of coverage of the Leicester/Bristol you can blame whoever changed the schedule (not sure of that was Leicester/Bristol, but this was originally planned for Saturday night, and within the capabilities of live production) and Leicester. Last time this happened, again because of a schedule change, it was a Bristol home game and Bristol took on responsibility for producing the coverage and live streamed it on their YouTube channel. I don't know whether Bristol or the BBL covered the costs of that. But on this occasion Leicester have offered no such solution.

A shorthanded Eagles team that also played last night should mean win for the Giants tonight although I hope I am wrong. Not sure if this is going to be an exciting game for the Sky cameras.
Although I heard Eagles went to London and back by train. I hope in that case their is no rail disruptions or strikes. Otherwise it could be the first time a delay has happened to a game because the home team was late to their venue.

Leicester are cooking.
Fairly confident of qualification from the group and a top four league finish

Couldn't be at the game but followed on livestats and loved this. Who doesn't love their team soundly beating a very good team?

Surprisingly enough 3 games actually got played tonight despite all the money/broadcasting issues. Exciting win for Nix but far far too sloppy at certain times. Good all round team performance with the early season stars of Rai and Jack struggling to get that form back but great support for the bench tonight. Even the massed drums (fortunately night off for the pipes) of the supporters behind the Nix bench failed.
Move of the night? Ben Thomas moving his timeout team talk metres out onto the court so he could be heard!

Well I thankfully stand corrected again and this time in a good way. A fantastic performance from a shorthanded Eagles team once again.
If I was a new fan and you said this team had only 24 hours travelled down to the capital, played London in a gruelling game then travelled the long journey home I wouldn't of believed it seeing how explosive we were tonight. We managed to stay out of foul travel and rotated well.
As for the opposition though can someone please explain to me how on earth did this Giants team push London Lions to Overtime? I think the Eagles must have had more assists from Giants players turning the ball over then ourselves and their were times where I questioned if Giants were even playing to win.
Given how we were shorthanded and playing a tough game away their was really no better night the Giants could have got us on. For a team called the Giants as well it was hilarious watching how on smallest players were jumping up and stealing ball from their tall players as well.
Overall so far 1 win 1 loss on this competition I will take given our circumstances injury wise so far especially since I expected to lose to Lions. Now that we have a week to recover I hope we do have Whitfield and Hibert back before Flyers next week.

This was my worry too but an excellent night for JJ from the perimeter, Austin Jr playing superb on both ends and Tahj being really impactful and perfect from the FT line got this one done.

To be honest during the entrances tonight I was jokingly wondering how long before Howard announces our team entrance as just Number 13 Darius Defoe and that's it as everyone else is on the bench injured. Given how we had 4 people injured but present we should have atleast done a London Lions and had our injured crew sat courtside under the basket in some sort of VIP section.

I can’t take the credit for the spot but did anyone else spot the former Rider in the crowd last night,
Sat behind the basket front row nearest the Riders bench. Played for Big Bad Bob.
Marc Hawley……Top English player. With a sweat 3 shot.
Oh and Riders were on fire too.

Didn’t know Larry was such a good rebounder He was for the last two years with us, especially offensive plays. Perhaps he is being used in a different mode with so many injuries at the moment. Playing at Nix he tended to be the main ball handler for much of the time and followed his shots in. Was surprised to see quite a number of times pre December he was positioned in the corner ready for a 3 point shot, definitely not his strength. He was also used to a 30 minute + game time not what was happening earlier in the season.
