Looks good for the Sky Sports viewers able to watch their teams in 2024. Congratulations to the 9 teams listed particularly Caledonian.
However I've always thought that this was the league that Cheshire Phoenix played in, obviously not!
Disgraceful!

I agree though it does seem odd not to see Cheshire or Bristol in the mix for TV? Unless they have done something to annoy the owners of the league then I don't understand why they didn't get atleast 1 or 2 games on TV. Definatley sucks and isn't right to those franchises considering Sky coverage can really help get new fans through the doors. If I was those teams I would certainly get on to the league for that and it seems like some fans on the Facebook for Cheshire have already questioned it.

There's definitely 3 /4 away games at venues which Sky use but not cross checked about night's. Still just have to go follow them away, we're always there in noisy numbers.

Bristol have a televised game against Leicester on 4th April. The biggest problem that Cheshire (plus Bristol and Surrey) have is that their 'arenas' aren't deemed of a good enough quality for television broadcast. So that immediately limits the number of their their games that can be broadcast to their away fixtures. Within that constraint I think the league do quite a good job at making sure we get a somewhat decent variety in the Sky schedule. And I'm sure some people will be happy to see there's only 2 London games on the schedule between now and the end of the regular season!

I'm sure the finance managers at Cheshire, Bristol and Surrey will be happy not to be on that Sky Thursday game list - means they don't have to worry about how to replace the drop off in crowd numbers some of the past Thursday games seemed to show in the broadcasts.

But is that an issue with the fact that the game is on a Thursday rather than the Sky issue?

Thursday is the issue - and it looks like a combo of need some games on a Thursday for Sky, and when not got a Sky game need some on a Thursday for US broadcast deals and finally need some on a Thursday as the league cant cope with three games on a Friday night the way the broadcasts are now being done (e.g next two Gladiator games are a Thursday evening, one away and one at home. Even if Sharks on 11th and Gladiators on 18th wanted to play their home game on the Friday, they couldn't as got two group B games scheduled on the 12th and 19th).
