Leicester Riders Avis?
Have the Riders been bought out by the car company or the Krill from the Sci-Fi show the Orville?

As long as Brad Greene doesn't show up on Sharks' roster I think we may win this one.

Sharks offense has majorly stalled in last couple of games so no doubt they'll put up 💯 today 😉

Much better sharing of the ball by Riders today. Three point shooting very good. HNY.

Plymouth v Eagles postponed As an Eagles fan, this is pretty embarrassing. From what I've seen they were supposed to be flying at 2pm for an 8pm tip off. For me that's asking for trouble. Too many variables. Feel terrible for any fans attending the game (especially if any Eagles fans have gone down, I'd be raging). From what I've read, Patriots pay a lot of for use of Pavillions. Who is going to foot that huge bill? Will they be insured for something like this? I'm genuinely curious.

I agree,I was suprised how short notice this was although I like to think the Patriots atleast would have been notified alot sooner. The only positive I will take from this is atleast we definitely finish the year on 2 back to back wins now.

There was problems with the plane at Newcastle airport, still did this fixture really have to be shoehorned into 2023, asking for trouble regardless of transport method

It should be in with a trip to one of London/Bristol/Surrey. I get that they've been unlucky with what's happened with the plane, but leaving Newcastle at 2pm is cutting it very fine. I don't care what anyone says, you're chancing it. You have to hope a lot of separate things all go right. I really feel for Patriots having a sold out venue then having to cancel at very short notice. It's not just the immediate financial cost either, what about the people its pissed off who might never go back? I feel Eagles have really let Patriots down with poor planning.

If it was the only flight to Bristol on the day you don’t have many other options really To be honest looking at our schedule since we are playing Bristol in 2 weeks away on the 12th January it would make sense if possible to reschedule this game for that weekend against Patriots. Although I think Patriots already have 2 games that weekend in the Trophy and I'm not sure if championship games would be allowed to be played at all during this window? Speaking of flying looking at the Eagles schedule I hope they plan to fly next week for their back to back away to London then home the following day against Manchester. Regardless whether they coach or fly down that is pretty crappy scheduling.

Do the clubs have any say in the scheduling of matches? I think most sensible BBL loving supporters agree that whatever the issues Eagles had over getting to Plymouth, it was a ludicrous decision to have that game. Why??
I wonder if it was decreed by our new owners that their new plans for the trophy must not be interfered with in any way?

If it was the only flight to Bristol on the day you don’t have many other options really The other option would've been to do what Patriots did to get their players back in time. I know we have to think about player welfare, but surely the priority should be 'can we get to the game'. Sure Eagles will learn from it though. The major issue is how shit the scheduling is this season, but Eagles really should take their fair share of the blame.
