Only jumped on in the glory years  Nah, I don’t like seeing riders down the standings the same way I didn’t like it with Newcastle. Clubs that have built something tangible over years rather than get rich quick on the back of their location. That said I’m loving watching this Lions team whilst it lasts (even if they’re half assed in the league 9/10). I’m in a conflicted place… |

Wow didn't expect Plymouth to get a win on Gladiators!
Makes me nervous we're going to do the same as what we did against Surrey at home at the beginning of this month when we play then post Christmas.
As for Riders, it certainly looks like Teddy Buckets means business and for all teams playing Leicester in the upcoming Trophy a cause for concern.
I know they say 1 man doesn't make a team although it looks like he could be the potential saviour this season Riders fans were hoping for.

I thought with Patriots losing their big pts scorer that the Gladiators individual plays would be enough for a close win - but nope too many sticky ball offensives and disjointed spells. As said after another recent loss - it shows that not got a consistent strong passing PG option to balance the drive Duboise brings to the role to open things up for the quality shooters of which we have a good number. Onto boxing day and hopefully a good as sold out playsport venue may be the extra man help to get a win v Giants (just a handful of single seats in the main stands and then some courtside seats left for Tuesday - who said boxing day is not a day for basketball crowds?) |
