Lost final 8 minutes 10-29. Becoming a familiar pattern. Horrific late game execution again. So frustrating. I do feel that we did well to stay in at as CSO were decent and absolutely huge. We looked better without JJ tonight which I never thought I'd hear myself say 😭 |

CSO a good side though. Taken Cluj close twice in the league this season, and Cluj are a top Eurocup side on the other side of the draw to London.

Agreed. Although Eagles descended in to their usual late game, static offense. Voluntari are a good team, doing well in their own league. Pretty good effort to hang with them, even if the end went badly. Those free throw misses really cost us when we needed points on the board. |

Just watched this game now.
Firstly whilst I'm glad to be playing in Europe watching these games on YouTube does make me appreciate having actual Commentary on BBL games.
Although it was great to watch a game without so many advert disruptions.
Also that court looks like an NBA 2K shootaround/practice court which gives me the impression that the BBL is a much more prestigious league then Romania.
Although credit to CSO for coming alive when it counted the most towards the end.
In the 4th Quarter it looked like we had the upper hand and things were going to go our but they came back stronger.
But I felt both teams made quite a lot of sloppy errors in the first 3 quarters and I was annoyed we didn't capitalise more on their mistakes.
Be interesting to see how we do against Zielona Gora on the 28th after Christmas at home and what sort of crowd we get in for that one with it being the holiday season and all as I'm hoping for a bigger crowd then what we had on Halloween.
By the way did anyone else watching the game back have moments where the video just jumped forward?
Like one minute a guy is heading to the free throw line and then all of a sudden it just flashes back to live play?
