I know in the BBL first half of the season we have seen Taj Green push the Riders and Prince Onwas get ejected for headbutting Jordan Johnson. However after seeing some of the stories around NBA and Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green. Those incidents can barely hold a candle to some of the antics he's been showcasing on and off the court as of late. After reading this and then watching the video on YouTube regarding the incident in question. I seriously wonder what on earth goes through his head sometimes? 😮 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/basketball/67700986

He's a prat and always has been - can't stand him and his arrogance. Steve Kerr, Curry and the others put up with him as he does help them more than he hinders, but when he hinders them he really does. Like in the NBA finals - everyone knows its entirely down to Green getting himself suspended that the Warriors lost momentum and lost the series from 3-1 up. Except Green himself, who still continues to blame everyone else for that. He's a thug who can't even take ownership of his actions.

Love it - was hoping for 10 games, especially taking into consideration his BS apology and attempt to make out it was an accident. Not very bright to think anyone would buy that! Indefinite, but it won't be more than Ja Morant has had for his gun stuff, because what message would that send. But I hope it'll be 10+ and from here on in Green is going to have to reign it in - he's at a point now where every further incident like this is going to be hugely costly, so he can't do it anymore basically. Reminds me of Whatsbev - you do something stupid enough times, eventually you lose any support you might have had and get dumped out in the cold. The best and only hope is to re-create yourself and be on your best behaviour, hoping to blend in.

His head coach and NBA Legend Steve Kerr has spoken out and said he supports and stands by Draymond. But basically agrees that he needs to sort it out and change his behaviour though and cannot defend his actions.

I do wonder how much more has to happen before Steve's patience wears thin and the team cut him loose. They think they need him to win - they did in the past, but they're not a contenting team anymore, they're a middle of the pack team whether that's with Green or without him. Therefore if they cut him loose it won't make any difference, but I just don't think they have accepted that their run is over yet. Not that they can really trade him, I mean who would want this guy and all the baggage he brings? Maybe a team like the Heat or Bucks where he could help boost them into being among the very elite?

Just seen this video reel highlighting all the antics and times Green got suspended. He must literally be the most dangerous player on an NBA court and not saying that in the playing sense as well. 📸 Watch this video on Facebook www.facebook.com/share/v/RRLh6aeFKgo6BVYW/

Nah Klays comment woke up the beast, thats why the comeback happened

Cant stand him either. It amazes me that knocking Jordan Poole out cold and slamming him into a wall was only deemed worthy of a slap on the wrist.

Is he any worse or different to Dennis Rodman? Or Ron Artest?
I think Green is acting up because he knows he is slipping backwards as a player as he gets older. He has been an excellent defender and vital cog in their offense at times but those times are fading into the past. More recently he is a liability due to the antics and offers nothing at the offensive end of the floor.
The GSW need a reset but its going to be difficult to get anything for some of the players that need to move on...Klay Thompson and Wiggins really need to start playing better soon or this will be a season where they miss the play-offs. That would be a crime given how well Curry is still playing. Chris Paul must be wondering what he has landed himself into!!!

Im not sure on Rodman but for Artest if your referring to the Malice from the Palace incident. I'm pretty sure he was provoked by the crowd on that one and would have argued the crowd was at fault for chucking stuff at him.

That incident was one of many for Ron. That said going and laying down on the scorers table (which certainly encouraged if not invited a crowd reaction) certainly ranks up there as slightly odd behaviour!! If you want violence...ask James Harden.
or this one at the end of a game -
Overall I would say he was certainly more talented that Draymond and equally as erratic!

Yes there are lots of examples of where 'World Peace' was anything but peaceful. I remember one incident early in his career where he grabbed a tv camera and smashed it after being ejected! The guy was a head case and yes, he was often guilty of hurting people too. Rodman was more the Rasheed Wallace type - often in trouble but more for rebellious and anti-establishment behaviour, than for actually hurting people. He did headbutt a referee once and kicked a cameraman at courtside, but I don't recall him regularly doing things to hurt other players. There was the Scottie Pippen incident of course. But in general Rodman was a lot smarter than Green or Artest and was very good at winding opponents up without doing enough to warrant a tech or ejection. The best example of this was in the 97 and 98 finals against Utah where he got under Karl Malone's skin and took him off his game, and also in the '96 finals where he did the same to Frank Brickowski, who got ejected at least once, maybe twice in that series, because he lost his cool with Rodman.

JJ Barea must have done something to really upset the Lakers in those days, as he also got this one:
thankfully that was the beginning of the end for Bynum and he was soon out of the league after this. Utter POS, glad his career got cut short by injuries and his inability to be professional. An absolute grade A arse.

Watched a couple of Warriors games since Greens suspension. To be honest they are playing better and looking far happier.
