London could rest some, though you would still expect them to win but could be close. Leicester will do well to stay within touching distance at Cheshire, could be a big margin.

Defence will be crucial for Riders, especially around the perimeter to try and prevent Nix from blowing us away with 3 pointers. Probably another loss for us but we fared better against Lions than I expected so there's hope.

Was not expecting that!
Looks like Glads have helped closed the gap now on the Lions.
Now if just one more team can defeat them in sort succession then we might actually have a league again.
I know Gladiators are supposed to be Roman but given how they knocked Lions out the Trophy last year.
Some may say they are Lions Achilles heel team.
Although I am wondering where were Decker and Matt Morgan today?
Drew was saying Matt hadn't missed a single BBL game so far this season until today it appears.

We ran out of gas and need to get another player in because we're too short handed on our bench in terms of quality. Far too many fouls by Riders. Nix are a heck of a team and deserved the win. That's the h2h for them. Begun to forget what winning looks like!

Absolutely shocking 4th quarter for us.
We didn’t have a clue on offence let alone defence
New blood is definitely needed and put that rocket back up Robs ass, I’ve never seen him so calm on the sidelines.
Well played Nix…outclassed us when it mattered.

Well Riders now 0-3 against the Nix.
Not a stat I expected to see this season.
And another back to back weekend of losses.
Considering I was asked earlier on this season when we were struggling do I think Eagles would make the playoffs this year?
I'm now starting to wonder whether you could start asking the same the Riders?

Who knows maybe Rob might be losing his touch and decides to move on and take on the new challenge of coaching Plymouth or Manchester? If Manchester can start winning some more games and close the gap then the Riders should start sweating. However if they end up finishing in the bottom half of the table that is how the downfall starts. |
