Who's the best good team

Bored and wondering what everyone else thinks.

Who's the best good team in the league?
London and Leicester are out as they are consistently great teams (not including this year)
Plymouth, Manchester, Surrey and Newcastle are out as they're consistently less than 0.500 team.

Leaves Cheshire, Bristol, Sheffield or Caledonia

For me it's Sheffield, havent missed the playoffs in like 30 years, occasionally win a trophy or the playoffs.

Not great, just good.

You've got a very short memory putting Newcastle in the group with the basket case clubs and not with Riders and London. Bristol belong in the basket case group too, they've been terrible apart from last season pretty much.

But yeah it probably is Sharks, Atiba has been coach since 2008 and they've won 4 trophies (never the league) with a median finish of around 5th and have never missed the playoffs.

Both teams arent good though? Theyve been great and poor in the last 5 years. Im talking about strictly middle of the road teams who are only ever good

All teams go up and down though don't they? If you go far enough back, 25 years ago it was Giants and Sharks dominating and winning a lot of stuff. Technically that was a different Giants franchise of course. London Lions seem to have evolved from the ashes of what started out as Hemel and Watford and back then they were abysmal. I don't think you could find a team that is forever in the good but not great bracket - they'll all have had bad seasons and great seasons.

Apart from the outstanding Jetwash era over 20 years ago I don't think there were many seasons where Jets/ Phoenix would be included in the very good teams list.
However this season.........wait and see.

I meant in the last generation really Sam, also why i left the jetwash team off!
