I would say feel free to have a street party. Although unlike us Riders don't have the fortunate situation of playing them the night after a Eurocup game. I have just watched our game from last night and glad to see we got the job done again and recorded another set of back to back wins. Although it was definately harder then I expected up until the 4th Quarter. I'll be expecting a tough match on Friday back at the Vertu Motors arena from the Scorchers. While we seem to be on a great run at the moment my only concern is we'll run out of steam at some point. Hopefully we can secure another win and keep climbing up the leader board. But for now good job Eagles! 🏀🦅 |

Mmm I think there's a pretty good chance we'd have won that game even with the apparently enormous handicap of Asberry and Pinson playing. Win Friday and I'll maybe have a sip of the Kool-Aid.
I also think it's probably fanciful believing that we're going to see three new imports coming through the door any time soon. If the Holder rumour has substance I reckon the plan is probably to pour whatever resources we have left into one experienced player instead of a bunch more rookies.

Depends I guess whether we consider building something for next season with any players we may or may not bring in I also wonder if the contracts we had with the players we released were date sensitive in terms of our commitments to the players Hence all 3 going at same time in a hurry? |
